“We waited 2 hours to get a seat for 2, but dang those traditional wings are soooooo fire, like nothing compares. Even the other wings there are not in the same league. If you asked me which I'd rather have, I prefer eating these wings for the rest of my life over my left foot. The wing quality too is just super up there, wew“

“Absolutely fantastic family owned business. Food and cocktails are always top notch. We have tried pretty much everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. The warm potato salad is a must along with everything else. Don't forget the Guinness chocolate cake! Everyone is friendly and the service is great. We will be back (many times)!“

“Loved it! Very nice gathering place. Also provides parking. I was there for a benefit/fundraiser and found it to be a great place to hold such an event. There's plenty of space, a kitchen and Bar. It also has multiple rooms for use. Two thumbs up ?“

“The exact embodiment of an Irish Pub you'd imagine if someone asked you to think of the ideal Irish pub, except without the stereotype redhead with green eyes at the door. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Food was decent, drinks served fast, and probably the best spot to take a date on Saint Paddy's (which I failed to do).Edit to add: each time I've been by here, Megan has been hostess/server. She's great! Instantly personable, relatable, a delight. If you can afford to spend a bit, the Banshee is really the best little spot to hang out. The charm of the space, and the staff, makes each visit deeply satisfying.Parking: There are a number of paid parking lots and paid parking garages in the area, but it's smack in the middle of downtown, so expect to pay for your time there. Ride services and cabs are ideal anyway, to prevent bad judgement after a few pints. To be honest, parking right in front of the building on Franklin St is *supposed* to be city street parking with meters, but some ppl have said they park there constantly and never pay anything (at least not in the afternoon/evening). Your call if you want to risk it. You can also pay $30 for the lot next door, if you really need some peace of mind.Wheelchair accessibility: Although the upper floors won't be accessible, the ground floor doors are accessibly wide and swing light on their hinges. The bathrooms can be a little snug to get thru the doors, but there are of course accessible stalls when thru those.“

“We loved Union before but now it is even better in the new location. The bar is awesome and there is a full dinning room now to come and enjoy a killer meal. I love the French onion soup, wings and of course Transit log!! Awesome downtown place!“

“Outstanding experience, best wings, and handcut fries in Buffalo. The wait times might be long but your food is brought as soon as it is ready as well as "ordered". Two spots to order from being the bar and one of the 12 tables located behind the hostess. Expect wait times of an hour at open and some open seats by 7/7:30. Went on a Saturday and had a great time talking to both tourists and locals. Order a drink so that the wait feels less like an hour and a half and more like twenty-five minutes. Cannot wait to come back and try the HOT wings as opposed to MEDIUM. They are known for their hot sauce.“

“My current favorite place to order fish fry takeout. The beer batter is fried to a crispy perfection. The sides are hit or miss, the potato salad was not good the last time I ordered. But was still pretty happy with meal overall. Do recommend!“

“The fish fry was so good!!! The fish was crispy and they gave me a huge piece! The tuna Mac salad was delicious and homemade. The fries were fresh cut and cooked perfectly. It also came with a sauerkraut pasta salad, coleslaw and bread with butter. Overall it was a excellent meal and I will definitely be ordering from here again.“

“We went to Steel City Pub last Saturday. I heard that they had some excellent burgers. Let me say, YES they do! My wife had the wings and she loved them. The place has a great vibe, service, food and ice cold beers. Check them out if you get a chance. You won't be disappointed.“

“Great place! This Lackawanna bar was everything I love about small town neighborhood bars and more! Some people weren't thrilled to see new faces walk in lol but ultimately everyone was fun and nice. Looking forward to stopping in more in the future!“

“Had a late afternoon to kill, went in for a burger. Decor is as others described, but the TVs were a bit noisy with MTV blaring a bunch of 90s to 00s alt rock, pop and lots of hip-hop + r&b. It was incongruous, a little grating, and seemed weirdly at odds with the clientele.Clarissa (IIRC) was delightful, and helped me pick the right beer for my mood (Sam Smith's Nut Brown Ale). Was profoundly disappointed to learn they had no kind of fries or hashbrowns available at all, thanks to the postage stamp-sized kitchen having only a grill. The chips would have to do, but at least the Independence burger was excellent. If all you're out for is atmosphere and a beer, this is a quaint, appealing spot, and if you get peckish, the food is quite tasty. (Though a hot plate to make some hash browns or scrambled eggs would add another star here. )“

“My car fell apart while I was driving through upstate New York and I ended up at Jokers. It seemed like fate brought us together. Chapter 2: The foodThe food was pretty good! Look at that pizza. Look at how it glows in the moonlight. Let its aroma wash over you in an awesome wave. Tasty stuff. Chapter 3: The ambiancePretty good! Lotta people lurking around. Some work there. Some just eat there. I was part of the latter crowd. This place takes US currency and most forms of credit card. Chapter 4: The endAll told, I think that Jokers is the place for you if you find yourself in the area. I don't know you too well, but I know you well enough to know that if you are still reading this drivel, you could do with a trip to Jokers. REST IN PEACE car. You failed me, but Jokers didn't.“

The bosses, managers, and employees strive to make each customer’s experience great and memorable.
