“I'd call this place a positive experience. For one, it's a beautiful and welcoming place. The staff is friendly, attentive, and informative. Their wines are dry by natural, so that almost gave me pause because I like sweet wines primarily. The smoothness of most of the wines really surprised me though. My husband and I ended up taking a few home too! We've got a lot more wineries to visit among the Finger Lakes, but this is one to keep on the list to revisit.“

“Great selection of NYS products to sample. Loved sampling the different varieties of mushroom vodka...yes indeed they carry a selection of MUSHROOM based vodkas, great for a Bloody Mary or Meaty Martini. They have wines, ciders, beers and spirits to sample so there's a little something for everyone. Jay, one of the owners, is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. The inside of the building is amazing. ( not your typical firehouse of the 50s ) They can also host private events, so ask about renting space for bachelor parties, retirement parties etc. ;)“

“The pizza was ridiculously good. Had the old world with the recommended hot honey drizzle and it might be my new favorite! If I had one request though, some metal knives and forks would make it easier to cut up my kids slices. Friendly staff and everything was clean and well maintained.“

“The ciders were delicious, as was the cheese platter. Service was friendly and efficient. The day before we visited another cider place that was very disappointing; if you can only make it to one cidery while in the Ithaca area, definitely go to Finger Lakes Cider House.“

“Anyone that doesn't rate this winery 5 stars has no palate. I have been to Germany and visited their best (Prum, Haag, von Schubert, Kerpen and others). I know what great Riesling is. This winery hits greatness whereas others are very good, at best. There are some new wineries that show great promise but they are all vying for #2.“

“Despite our packed schedule, we couldn't resist making an impromptu stop at this winery. Although it wasn't initially on our itinerary for the day, as we were en route to Sweedish Hill Winery, I insisted we make a detour - and I'm glad we did. This marked our eighth stop of the day, pushing the limits of our wine-tasting endurance, but who can resist another opportunity to indulge? Upon arrival, we opted to share a tasting flight, selecting a total of five wines. I gravitated towards two reds, while my wife opted for three whites. To our delight, each wine we sampled was exceptional, leaving us thoroughly impressed. One standout was the Pasta Red, a semi-sweet blend of Baco Noir, DeChaunac, and Arandel, boasting rich flavors of jammy blueberry and raspberry. We were so enamored with it that we ended up purchasing two bottles - a rare moment of consensus on a red wine during our trip, especially one with a semi-sweet profile. Typically, I lean towards dry reds, while my wife enjoys a variety but leans towards dry to semi-dry whites. As is customary during a wine tasting, we were presented with a complementary board featuring crackers, cheese, and chocolate to accompany our tasting experience. Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable, further enhancing our visit. We were also greeted by the winery's resident dog, adding a charming touch to the ambiance. I left with a lingering desire to return to this special place on our next trip to the lake. I look forward to exploring more of their offerings and perhaps indulging in a leisurely glass of wine while soaking in the tranquil atmosphere. It's undeniably a gem worth revisiting.“

“If you’ve seen the movie “The Menu” this is the Seneca Lake equivalent however without the tragic ending. Watch the movie then go to this place because the food is phenomenal, maybe you’ll see the connection. In all seriousness great place to eat, recommend reservations in advance, if you love German cuisine this is a must while in the Lake Seneca region. Indoor and outdoor seating, it’s just a fantastic place and would tell anyone to go and give it a rip for the experience and food.“
