Great local place for authentic Mexican food. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: They have a decent selection of vegetarian options...remember everything has cheese so if your Vegan, probably not a good choice. But the food is very good.

The service was nice, but how could the food get any worse? They have Frank's Red Hot for hot sauce on the table. No cholula or tapatios or anything actually mexican flavored. They don't serve margaritas. Do not order the fajitas, they are dry and unseasoned. Go to Hacienda in Binghamton or Old Mexico in Ithaca if you want mexican food.

How does this place have 4 stars, for real? Honestly if I could give this place zero stars, that would be more appropriate. I have been here 3 times. First time, the owner tried to charge us for WATER that he served us. When we confronted him, he said "well it costs money to clean the cup." LOL You can't make this stuff up! Second time, his family and friends were in there having a party or something? The restaurant was open for dining still. We were the only people in there besides the owners friends and family. Felt like we were intruding so we left. Third time we went, I ordered a steak chimichanga, it was ground beef. We again confronted the owner and he literally gave us an attitude and then said that ground beef and steak are the same LOL! Anyways, this place is a JOKE and serves the worst quality shitty Mexican food you will ever eat. On the same level as school cafeteria taco Tuesday. It's sad. We really wanted to root for this place but my god it's seriously one of the worst restaurants in Owego. If you are looking for a meal, you honestly are better off getting a slice of pizza from the Mirabito gas station across the street. Anything is better than this place. Also, Owego has SO many other great places to eat. If you are looking for good enough Mexican food, head up to Old Mexico in Ithaca.

Incredible authentic food! I ordered the fish tacos, which absolutely slapped! They were able to give me corn tortillas over flour. My boyfriend got the chicken burrito and loved the flavors! Filling portions. Definitely would recommend eating here. Staff were super friendly.

The owner was very friendly and the food was decent enough. However, when we got to the checkout we were shocked by the price. The lunch fajitas were listed at 12.99 ea, but he charged us 15.99. when we asked him about it he acknowledged his mistake but asked if we were okay paying the higher price, which we weren't. He did refund us $6 with cash. Then we also noticed they charged us for the staples that come with a fajita like shredded cheese and sour cream. We were charged $3 for extra salsa. We were not informed of any of these charges. So for 2 of us to eat lunch fajitas with a side of queso cake to over $50. While we were happy with our food, we won't be returning due to the nickel and diming.
Authentic Mexican cuisine with very nice owners and filling food. Food is always served beautifully.
