They have a fantastic brunch menu! Highly recommend the biscuits and gravy, as well as the heavenly hash! Make a reservation if possible because they tend to fill up fast on Sunday.
I’ve ordered take out from here multiple times. One time the chicken in my salad was raw, today I ordered Chicken Tacos and my home made tortillas were pastey and raw. It was basically raw flour with dry chicken in it and a piece of old avocado.. they were like 15$ too so the quality was awful for the price… also did I mention there’s only two tacos??? And the tortillas on both were thick and raw?? Also the staff is typically kind of rude here and rolls their eyes whenever we come in. Have gotten the cheesesteak and sometimes it’s okay but today it was super dry and tasted old

You’ve been warned!My family and I went there for lunch to celebrate my birthday yesterday. This used to be our favorite restaurant in Owego until then. The food was extremely bland and tasted old and not fresh. My chicken was blah and our guacamole was a bit brown but we though it was due to seasoning… my husband’s burger was dry and my daughter’s torta was tasteless to the point that we had to get barbecue sauce to season it. We gave them a chance and ate the food but we are now all sick from it. And I can pinpoint because that was the only things we all ate in common yesterday. Such a disappointment! We are definitely not going back and do not recommend MJs. Very saddened and would love a refund, please!The restaurant contacted me and tried to blame the issue on me! do not have any avocado allergies and the fact that my entire family got sick only pinpoints to our visit as it was the only place where we all ate together! Also, other reviewers have mentioned that the restaurant has served them old fishy shrimp so, you do the math. As per my negative reviews I typically voice my dissatisfaction to warn other people of where the bad food is so they do not go there. MJs disssapointed me. I do not recommend it. If you want good reviews, then please serve fresh food…. Otherwise the bad reviews will keep coming :(

My daughter suggested we try this place. What a fantastic experience. This place was very busy but the staff were very accommodating seated us very quickly and we ordered and our food which arrived in very short amount of time. I had the brunch Burger which I've never experienced anything like before! It was the most delicious hamburger, hash browns, sausage gravy, bacon, and eggs I've ever had! 5 people in our party all had something different and all raved about the food and the experience. We are making plans to go back to experience a dinner there! Wonderful atmosphere with delightful employees, happy patrons, great food and service!Parking: Ample parking
