Absolutely shred through their house salad every time I order it off ubereats. They changed the sauce from their in house sauce to a prepackaged balsamic vinegar sauce and the taste is fine but i looooved the previous sauce. If you are the owner and read this, please change it back T-

I normally order from this place a lot. But lately idk. I order my burgers well done and today my burger was really pink inside. And there have been a few times my order is wrong. Delivery guys are so kind. Overall the food generally is good.

Okay so I liked this place walking in.. Theodora behind the counter has that mediterranean openness that the Greeks share with Italians and others whose countries touch that sea. One glance at her and I felt at home. Truth is she reminded me of my own Italian family.So I bought the burger special to go. And when I got home it was a pleasant surprise.The French fries were outstanding. Meaning they literally stand out and apart from everything I've tasted in the last 2 weeks Eating in queens Chinese places, diners et cetera. Everyone except this place must use the same formula or the same oil at least.Not so with taste cafe.I don't know how to describe it other than to say the french fries were tender and tasty. It's like they weren't even deep fried or something. Very niceWhen it came to the burger itself I was also pleased. While not amazing (it was overcooked) it was good with a permiating smokeyness.I like the feel of the place as well. It's been part of the local landscape for decades, dating back to when this was a thoroughly Italian neighborhood. It's local character is clear from the small talk between regular patrons and the staff. Some folks wandering off the street just to say hello...So this is more than a cute little dine in/take out place; It's a step back into Queen's history, and a part of local Queens at present.FOLLOWUPI think the food quality depends on the cook. Today's experience didn't match my first go round. Everything but the food remains the same but I would give the food a 3 this time.Parking: 4 spots in front of the store and about 6 across the street
I try to order the “tsos” wings thats on the menu. The lady has no idea what im talking about. I have to point to it. Then she goes “oh the spicy wings!” which is something different. Someone corrects her. When I get my wings I get these dry wings with basically no sauce and the WRONG sauce. Plus I think she overcharged me. The wings sucked regardless of sauce. The wings always were bad but I had not been here in years so decided to try them. Still bad. Only buy very basic breakfast stuff here. Anything more than that, don’t expect quality. Its hard to find good food Ozone Park and it still is.

The food I just got, nasty! And it’s not the first time, it used to be good a while back. If ya don’t want to make food, find another job. I basically got a quarter tomato as a slice for a blt??♀️. And don’t get me started on the lack of aluminum foil, are ya running out? Cuz my sandwiches are barely wrapped and cold!!! Last but definitely not least, customer service is trash, mad rude and hang up on you, I’m sorry did I piss you off by calling your job?!? Last time I waste my money here.?
