A pleasant surprise! My wife had a crazy weekend at work so I wanted to take her out for dinner. Blue Goose is close to home, but we'd never been there. Looked at their website and saw tgat Monday was "prime rib night". We were both very pleased with the seasoning and cook of the prime rib. It was one of the best I've had in a long time, certainly much better than the steakhouse chains, comparable to a good steakhouse. Had a great experience here tonight. We both had the marinated skirt steak and it was superb. Plus the tasty drinks, apps and dessert. Our server Sam was awesome as well as the owner Brian who sat us and checked in on us. Friendly people and great food make the night. Will definitely be back.

Comfortable place with friendly people on staff and in the tavern. The food was ample and well prepared. the menu was not run of the mill. This is an unassuming tavern that just gets it right! the Live music is what made us choice the location, but the people, the food and the service will bring us back!
