After a nice sauna session a few doors down, we stopped in here for a light dinner. Did not disappoint! Lots of parking in the back, and this place is among several other places on the corner of Ocean and Main. It was pretty full, but we got seated in a cozy spot up front. Immediately drawn to the octopus salad, but also tried the tuna wrap. A half dozen oysters while wating. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the wrap was nice and packed. This might become a regular after-sauna spot. Water glasses were filled often, and the service was nice and cheerful.

Stopped in for the first time in a long time. Found the prices to be pretty high for simple items. It's a shame that we live on an island and yet fresh seafood is hard to come by and costs so much. Food was good though. The blackened tuna bites were perfectly seasoned and had just a quick sear. The oysters were fresh and tasty. I had the blue points and the smaller of the Peconics.

To begin with before you order ... you get specs on the different varieties of oysters... salinity, size, and point of origin. Then you get your lime and lemon with the drink of choice... to complain your choices. It doesn't stop there. If you're looking for a place that understands nuance and attention to detail ... this is it. The cocktail sauce wasn't just good it was amazing.. enhanced with a little fresh minced horseradish. Then there was the Mignonette sauce ... so much subtlety in the flavors....married but distinct in the perfect blend that brightens the flavors in the oyster.

I'm going to try to write this using the word "awesome" as little as possible, but if you're in the mood for some of the most awesome oysters on the Island, this place would be an awesome choice. Check the menu on the wall to see what's on hand, but the Peconic Bay variety were eye opening to me (Read: awesome). I love oysters and this place is, well...awesome. Parking in Patchogue usually sucks, the place is small, but the food is great here. All major cards.

Love their oysters. It's a really small place so you need to be prepared to wait or to visit at odd times. Service is great. Drinks are always great. If you like fresh oysters, you'll love catch.
