Every single weekend I go through hurdles trying to get a simple bacon egg and cheese sandwich here. They never have all of the ingredients or even the grill on at all. I keep coming back because the sandwiches are SO good... but after being disappointed so many times I am reaching my breaking point. For one example, I’ve called before to see if the grill is open, they say it is until 1, then I go at 12:30 to see the griller leaving for the day. Or, they’ll be out of bacon and by the time they go out and get it they are out of biscuits to put the sandwich on. Getting breakfast should not require mental preparation to be let down. Shop has so much potential and really quite amazing food, this part just really sucks. Management, please fix this!! I want to buy your grill items, just make them as consistently available as your other items please!

Super disappointed! So excited To be able to go to Hometown bakeshop Patrick again went in to get breakfast or a lunch sandwich only to find out the grill is closed and they are not making sandwiches either. Only had a small selection of other things to choose from. I picked up out some other stuff but was disappointed I couldn't get any of the things off the menu hanging above just the grab and go stuff. Mostly I was disappointed because I have a quick lunch window and now I have to go back to work to heat this up, I didn't leave time for that. Had to come back to say the spinach pie is AMAZING!!!!! Really good! The quiche is also good, super fluffy but I like a cheddar flavor and this was more a Swiss cheese taste but very good. Try the spinach pie if you're torn!

Some of the best baked items I've ever had! I've had a few egg sandwiches, muffins, and scones. Based on what I've had, you can't go wrong here. One suggestion: small signs in front of items in the case would be helpful since the same items aren't available every day. I always feel bad asking what each pie, scone, etc. is when there are other people waiting to be helped.

I am a Saturday morning regular. After a long work week I love starting my weekend with fresh hot coffee and delicious fresh baked goods at Hometown Bakeshop. Not only is the food great but the staff is awesome! The girls are friendly, courteous and helpful. It's great to see their smiling faces each Saturday!!

The wait was BRUTAL on a Sunday morning at 10:30am. One employee serving a line out the door. The poor woman at the counter was kind of slow, but she was getting killed. I felt awful. I witnessed no less than five people walk out. I really wanted to try one of their egg sandwiches but the people who were waiting for food from the kitchen were visibly annoyed at how long they had been waiting, so I cut my losses and walked out. It's not fair to that poor girl that the store was so understaffed. The baked goods in the display looked really good, but the display was a little bit barren. Not the best presentation. I'll come back and try again, but not a great first impression.

We absolutely love the food here. It's amazing. But there are so many other places who have workers who don't treat us like we are bothering them. We've been trying to give this place business from the start, especially after winning the chili contest during the Fall Festival, it is hands down amazing and we went back over a dozen times... but I can't give more than 3 stars because I just can't give my money to a place where we are treated like a nuisance every single time.

we purchased a macaroni and cheese pie and it was absolutely amazing- we also purchased some breakfast items- the scone wasn't what I asked for and wasn't that good and the muffin mu husband said was good.
They have delicious food but their customer service needs improvement. we used them for catering for a baby shower and my sister who placed and paid for the order still has not heard from a manager or owner. They didn't have her order, it was for the wrong day. We still don't have an answer to what happened. We just know that the party started and we didn't have any food for guests. My sister walked in 20 minutes after the party started and we had to heat up what they gave he

I saw a post for the s'mores pie on Instagram and I was there in a New York minute. The space is large which is perfect for social distancing. The bathroom wasn't opened though and I find that inconvenient since they are opened for indoor dining. Well, they did not have the pie but they had a s'mores "bar" which is pretty much the same thing. A bit pricey but fresh and delicious, I will visit again as long as they open the bathrooms!

A friend who lives in Long Island recommended Hometown bake shop to me because I was going to be in the area for the weekend. It did not disappoint! My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the sandwiches we got as well as one of the quinoa bowl options. We ordered for pick up due to Covid restrictions and it was ready when we arrived. The only issue I had was with their website Because a lot of the options on it said we had to buy six or more items like muffins and scones and when we arrived they have them available for single purchase which was frustrating because we would have bought a few items had we known but instead didn't order any baked goods because the website said we needed to order six of the same kind.

We purchased a devils food pie kit for my kids to make... it was incredible!!! Very rich and delicious! We also bought 2 s’mores donuts that were out of this world! Omg delicious!!!!
