The vibes in this place are great. Fun, fresh and uplifting. No crazy dark energy seen in many places on Main Street. However, the drinks are horrible. I ordered a Manhattan and I could barely drink it. My friend ordered a dirty martini and it tasted like dirty cement. Poor understanding of how to make proper drinks. Drinks, no bueno. Music and atmosphere, muy bien.

I wanted to take my brothers who are on vacation and staying with me to the Cuban Patchogue and we had no issues getting in to any of the other places near by however the Cuban said that you cannot go in unless you have a USA ID which doesn’t make sense to me if you have a Photo ID wether it’s from US or Cuba it’s a Photo ID. So please don’t waste your time going here especially if you don’t have a USA ID apparently they are TSA not a restaurant bar.

The food was very overpriced and underwhelming. I ordered the seafood and the scallops were overcooked, shrimp were bland, and the lobster tail wasn’t anything to write home about and it all cost $40. Absolute highway robbery. The rest of my table shared similar opinions and nobody really liked their food. Way too expensive for the mediocre food

The restaurant is very nice but it was empty, that was weird. The food not so much. The Cuban sandwich was not so good, they put honey dijon mustard in the sandwich, who does that? I ordered the mar y Tierra and the meat had a weird texture and sauce on top was not tasty, the tostones were huge and the too hard, the lobster tails were tasty but the meat was tough. The best thing here was guacamole and the piña coladas
We had a blast with live music and a great atmosphere. The appetizers were tasty. The Rabo Encedido dinner course, the presentation was great, and taste was not what I expected. The tomatoe sauce was overpowering. Too much basil left me feeling like I was eating spaghetti and meatballs.

Apparently the waiters can drop your beer and they don’t have any responsibility over the drink I paid for, instead the coward owner kicks anybody out at his wish instead of listening to his customers complaints even though I wasn’t yelling or screaming I just wanted them to keep their promise in giving me a new beer after they dropped it! Shameful place who only cares about money

We usually visit the Cuban on weekends to listen to Pedro and have a few drink. The new bartender Bella is amazing!! She has been our bartender on 3 different occasions and she is friendly, attentive and a great people
