Best hidden gem at Pelham. My family and I come here at least twice every week. Every time we come here, we are always greeted by smiles of the waitress and feel so welcomed. They talk to us like we are friends and always have a good time here. When we order rolls or sushi, the fish is always so fresh. Every single single time. Does not disappoint. The angel roll is a must try, so delicious and such a nice blend and balance of flavors. All of the kitchen foods are so flavorful and delicious. There really isn't a place. My go to sushi place.

I placed an order for 2 Bento boxes at 5:45 last night. My order arrived at 7:50. The soup was cold, the tempura also cold and laden with oil. Had to call at least 3 times to inquire about the whereabouts of my order. At one point I was told to come pick it up. The only thing edible was the California rolls. Terrible experience. Won't frequent this establishment anymore.

Sushi is fresh most of the time. Took 1 star because the was a fruit fly hovering over my food.Edited 10/25/2023Sadly today will be my last day at Sakura. The sushi rolls cannot get any smaller but the prices don't get smaller. The amount of fish is miniscule too. I feel scammed. Farewell Sakura! Sayonara!! Wish you the best.

Food is good but it's a Chinese owned and managed sushi place. The rice is just wrong if you love Japanese sushi.., once you get past that however, the food is clean and fresh. It always has slight funk in the air.....
Food is pretty decent, however, was feeling lazy and decided to order out this particular night, (Trans ID 5833 etc so people know I actually ordered) and the food was good the only thing I didn’t like is that it took over an hour to get delivered so it was cold and I had to reheat anyways, as to the reason I’m writing this review, I had originally planned to tip, but because I was given no eta, and I had to call after an hour to know if it is still being delivered I decided to not tip (I know frowned upon but its really up to business to pay a wage ) and the delivery man was surprised I didn’t have a tip and was basically holding my food hostage until I payed up, so he handed me the receipt (payed over the phone with card) to write in a tip as I didn’t have cash on me and then handed me my food, very unprofessional and not worth getting food from here if that’s how you treat people.

Dined in: Sushi was okay, the sunset roll was good but the spicy tuna didn't taste very fresh... then when the bill comes I see all these up charges for sauces and soy paper when she didn't even tell me there would be a charge when I ordered it. She said I thought you knew... ummm no it's my first time going there. At least tell me there is an up charge since there is no where on the menu stating that. Also, when I was going to order the Philadelphia roll with fresh salmon instead of smoked salmon, she told me there was a $1 up charge for that, so why not say it for the other stuff. Be consistent or put it on the menu .... She refused to remove the extra $4 ... next time INFORM people before you start ringing shit up on the bill.

Very nice ambience. The manager and waitresses are very nice and the most important thing. Excellent fresh sushi and they make great recommendations. Love the yellowtail jalapeño.

Everything we ordered was DELICIOUS. The uni was shockingly amazing for such an affordable price. House sushi sandwich and miso eggplant with scallop were a delight. Service is also incredibly attentive and so sweet. Tamago and wild yellowtail sushi were also amazing. Will 1000% be coming back here.

Nice restaurant fast lunch. Nice staff. No Japanese gardens or private rooms. Just good sea food and deep-fried banana.This is a really good stop to take out food on your way home after working all day.Parking: Parking meters have to be fed during the day. Bring quarters ? to save dollars on parking fines
