In my, opinion, the best Chinese take out in Penfield, evidenced by the fact that they never seem to have a lack of customers! Consistently good food backed by consistently good service keeps us coming back over and over again.

The most rubbery chicken I’ve ever had and the blandest Chinese food I’ve ever had! And what is with that fried rice?? Is it orange because of all the oil? It virtually had no flavor at all and nothing in it but orange color. Hardly a speck of veg. I hate to leave bad reviews but feedback is important if you care at all about your business. Too bad too…I love Chinese food when it’s made well.

Worst Chinese restaurant ever! They served our food in takeout containers with one small appetizer plate. . Warm water served in disposal coffee cups. My sesame chicken was like chewing on rubber. Lemon chicken was dry was toast. . I suspect they precook the chicken only to reheat it again in the fryer. Disgusting! The owner and his wife are extremely deceptive! They really don't care. It's the money they want.

Just tried them for lunch for the first time and the chicken was like rubber...so stingy, oily and tough...it was not good at all! The fried rice was a strange yellow color and completely flavorless...maybe 3 veggies in the whole dish...the small pieces of bell pepper. I tried it all and tossed it all in the garbage. I'm afraid Panda Express is looking pretty good although I wish I could spend my money locally.

I'll never not go to Hong Wah as my choice of tasty Chinese food! I never have a problem. Fried Dumplings are always perfect. The sesame chicken for me is always great. I've also tried the chicken and broccoli and sweet and sour chicken. The combos are filled to the brim and I appreciate that. Always recommend this place. Covid made it semi order out only but that's never stopped us from ordering. Give it a try! They're not voted best for no reason.

Went for the first time the other day and by far, this is the best Chinese restaurant around. Every single dish we had - from the shrimp and broccoli to the crispy honey beef to the shrimp toast (!!) to the shrimp fried rice - was cooked and flavored to perfection. The fried rice had that delicious wok fried flavor I have found in only one or two other places (inconsistently at best), and the crispy honey beef was perfectly crispy and sweet without drying out the beef, and the shrimp and broccoli had an amazing flavorfulSauce and delicious succulent shrimp! As did the shrimp toast!! Vicki has such a kind welcoming demeanor and the restaurant just beautifully appointed and quiet and clean. They only do take out now but we could stay and eat there in a lovely booth and it was perfect. Needless to say I cannot say enough about this fabulous restaurant and will return often. So excited to have found it!
