Everyone suggested the Michigan hotdog ? Raved about it. Unfortunately, my son and I didn't find it living up to all that hype. Overall it's a very soft kind of hotdog except for the bit of crunch from the onions. The hotdog itself does not have a snap to it. It's kind of like a bologna hotdog. It's just not our preference. The Jalapeno Poppers were very crunchy and tasty. The chocolate pie, I've never had pie like that. The bottom was very loose, super crumbly. We should have gotten burgers, they looked really good! The vibe is cool though. It felt like a retro diner/roadside eatery/neighborhood joint.Even though we did not enjoy those hotdogs, we'd come back to try the burgers and fish n chips.

Went here on a Saturday afternoon to have chocolate pancakes and eggs. The hubby had a burger and fries. Both were delicious. The pancakes were large and fluffy and packed with chocolate chips. The burger was juicy, the bread was fresh, and the fries were crispy. The waitress was sweet and attentive. Will definitely return!

Had lunch here yesterday after visiting the ice castle in saranac lake. Have eaten here before and we will take a day trip up here to eat every once in awhile. (2 hours from where we live.) food is delicious and the French fries were hot, not Luke warm like many other places. Great diner atmosphere, friendly staff, clean bathrooms. Nice place. Highly recommend. ?
