Absolutely love dining at Dolphin South Trattoria in Pleasantville! The Chicken Scarpariello is hands down my FAVORITE dish – bursting with flavor and always cooked to perfection. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, and the service is top-notch!! Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious Italian cuisine!

Absolutely delighted by this restaurant. Food was delicious, service was excellent and a wonderful time was had by all. Grilled octopus was exceptional & the homemade pappardelle was great. Only problem was when the door opens, a cool draft goes through the whole place. But wear a sweater, the food is worth it.

After only about 2 months since discovering Dolphin South, it is already a staple. What makes a place warrant coming back for more? I could probably list many reasons: friendly staff, incredible food, tasty drinks (shout out espresso martinis)— and dolphin south has those in spades, but I think there’s a “je ne sais quoi” that they have. We have been back more times than we can count (despite many other fine establishments in the area). The decor is great and makes you feel like you’re at a family member’s house. Gio (the owner) has an amazing way of making everyone who walks through the door feel like he has known them for a long time.We just went last night and it was superb— I recommend the Braised Chicken while it’s still on the menu, and any of the fish dishes paired with the broccoli rabe. Last night we also treated ourself to their flourless chocolate cake with ice cream — incredible.Can’t wait to be back, and I’m sure we will very soon :) I’m itching to try their sandwiches at lunch.

Everything was terrific - the food, the ambience, and the service. Servings were large and the food was tasty. It's been a few weeks since my visit but recall everything being too-notch. Really liked this place and strongly recommend you give it a try.

Nothing much to eat if you're vegan :/ Even the pasta had eggs, so we were served zucchini noodles with vegetables, some of which were still cold. Cooking vegetables is not that hard!

Always a good experience at Blue Dolphin (any of their locations). The staff is really attentive and welcoming. It also seems like they genuinely enjoy working there. The guy running the show is really kind so I could see why.The food is fantastic here. You'll be happy with whatever you order. And if there's something not on the menu they're usually willing to make it anyways. Good wine as well.Usually crowded but not too loud or anything. Highly recommend.
