Had a very enjoyable Sunday brunch at Freddy's. We ordered from the brunch menu. Everything was well prepared, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere is upbeat and friendly.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Freddy's Restaurant, and I must say, it was an incredible experience. The retro-style atmosphere immediately caught my attention upon entering the restaurant. The owners, Matt and Christina, have truly created a unique and inviting ambiance. To start off our evening, my wife and I decided to indulge in some delicious cocktails. She opted for the spicy martini, which packed a flavorful punch, while I enjoyed a classic old-fashioned that was expertly crafted. For appetizers, I couldn't resist trying the deviled eggs, and they were absolutely divine. The creamy filling and perfectly seasoned eggs left me wanting more. My wife decided to go for the French onion soup, and it was nothing short of amazing. The rich flavors and melted cheese on top created a perfect harmony of tastes.Moving on to the main course, I decided to try their burger, but without the bun. The patty was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful. But what really took it to another level was the sweet bacon jam topping. It added a delightful twist to the classic burger and left me speechless. My wife opted for the French onion short ribs, and I must say, it was a game-changer. The tenderness of the meat combined with the unique flavors of the French onion sauce created a taste sensation like nothing we had ever experienced before.Overall, Freddy's Restaurant is a must-visit for any food lover. The culinary skills of Chef Matt are truly exceptional, and the attention to detail in every dish is evident. I wish I could give this place 10 stars because it deserves every bit of praise. Don't miss out on the opportunity to dine at Freddy's Restaurant and indulge in a culinary journey that will leave your taste buds begging for more.

So happy that a friend recommended Freddy's. We recently moved to Chappaqua and have found it challenging to find restaurants with an interesting menu, excellent food, great service and a fun atmosphere....well, we found it last night at Freddy's! Clearly, there's a high level trained chef in the kitchen and an owner who knows how to run a restaurant! Literally everything we ordered was delicious! The place is small so be sure to make a reservation.

We stumbled upon Freddy's and were blown away by the unforgettable dining experience it offered! From start to finish, every moment was filled with culinary delights, and our server Cody made the experience even more memorable.First up, the Chopped Italian Combo Salad stole the show with its fresh ingredients and tantalizing flavors. Then, we savored the Grilled Octopus, served with citrus German potato salad, gremolata, and chili oil, followed by the delectable Arancini Balls with cacio e pepe bechamel. For our main course, the French Onion Short Rib was a flavor-packed sensation, accompanied by gruyere potato gratin and crispy onion rings. And let's not forget about dessert! The Funfetti Bread Pudding and Apple Cobbler were the perfect sweet endings!Every dish showcased the perfect balance of flavors and expertly crafted gastology. Plus, the cocktails were a hit, and the espresso was top-notch!We can't wait to return to Freddy's with our friends and family to share this incredible dining experience. If you're in Pleasantville, don't miss out on this culinary gem – Freddy's is an absolute must-visit!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options and vegetarian options!

Great food and drinks! Really enjoyed my tuna tartare, deviled eggs and gnocchi. The caramel brownie with ice cream was also delicious. We almost didn’t order dessert because we were so full already but glad we did! Reasonably priced.

Very good food. Very good service. The menu has some tasty reliable options, the pastas are exceptional. We had the Tomahawk steak special for 2 and the meat was excellent. But at $125 it was priced rather aggressively and we both agreed we should have gone with 2 orders of steak fritte and saved about $50! The cottage fries were soggy and the creamed spinach was very salty and way too much garlic, like a puddle of salty garlicky sause with not enough spinach. Loved the deserts.

My family made evening reservations and waited a fee minutes at the bar. The restaurant was crowded, but not noisy. Our server was Alex, and she provided some of the best service we’ve received at a restaurant. The short rib, tavern burger, and pork chop are definite orders. Delicious and the short rib melted in my mouth. We ordered the cobbler for dessert. It is made in-house and was warm and tasty. We will be coming back and highly recommend.

While I would say give it a try, I don't think I'll be back. Their famous onion rings were tasteless. We didn't come close to finishing them. Tuna tartare was good although the arancini balls were again tasteless. Eggs Benedict were good. They were on a strange bread like crouton thing. If they were on an English muffin, they would have been better. Service was excellent. All the reason to go and give it a try. Used to love the food when they owned the Whitlock. Maybe they need more time here in pleasantville.

Street parking could be challenging and reservations is a must for weekends. The place is clean and services was good. The French Onion Short Ribs is a must try with tasty potatoes on the bottom. Pork belly wraps is a little messy but very good. The grilled octopus was soggy and room temperature, can skip that.

Amazing food, and cocktails. Creative menu, but not "weird". Always so many things to choose from and never disappointed!

Originally drawn in by simply tantalizing Instagram posts featuring sumptuous-looking burgers, fries, and onion rings, several visits have yielded superb dining experiences. Service has been accommodating, prompt, and friendly. Meals are A+. Just enjoyed a Restaurant Week course and the concluding caramel brownie was small enough so one leaves satisfied while not feeling terrible about eating it and also absolutely delicious.
