“The food and service here is absolutely incredible! Truly the best tacos I have ever had at a great price. We ordered the carnitas (my personal favorite) and bistec tacos, cecina burrito, and Cubana torta. Everything is so delicious and made to order. Never disappoints, can't wait to return!“
“My two favorite things in the menu are the hand made quesadillas and the Birria ramen. I love the face that these are freshly made to order so steak is juicy and very very tasty best quesadillas and tacos in port Chester for sure. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND“
“Welcoming, New Peruvian Restaurant in Byram, right on the Greenwich CT and Port Chester NY border. Greeted by a smiling hostess asking how she could be of assistance. I ask for a take-out menu and was guided to the dinner menu. Wanting to stay with Peruvian food I was familiar with, I went with: Chupe de Camarones; Ceveche de Pescado; and Saltado de Camarones. The shrimp soup was a little different, but as good as, any that we have had in this area. The broth had a little more milk than others and I don't believe I've ever had a couple of small pieces of chicken in the soup either. The "stir-fry" shrimp, with scallions, tomatoes, and peppers over French fries w/a nice side of white rice was very tasty. The marinated mixed fish was extremely fresh and properly marinated at the same time. It is one of the very best Ceveche's we've had in a very long time! Will we be back.....?We can't wait to sample the rest of their menu.“
“Great hidden gem! For what it is, 4 stars is fitting. Small and outdated but man can you get amazing food here. Love being able to watch them cook. Can never go wrong with the chilaquiles or huevos rancheros! (Verde for me). Pick out your own drink and enjoy the meal!“
“This place never disappoints. Every time me and my wife goes to the Capitol theater, we stop by Salsa Picante for dinner. The staff are always very attentive and the food always delicious. I personally love micheladas and the one here is just perfect in my opinion, my wife loves the spicy margarita they make. We always try something different in the menu, and so far everything tasted very good and authentic. Highly recommended!!!“
“First time ordering. Great portion. Great presentation. Fresh. Everything was exactly how we ordered and will definitely order again. And OMG the flan and tres leches cake were a definite bonus. Can't rate the service or the atmosphere as this was a take out order. However if it's as good as the food... can't wait to try the margaritas.“
“Nice local owned restaurant serving Mexican and Peruvian cuisine. The server was very sweet and friendly. Definitely try their local inca drinks. Mine was made with Passion fruit. It was so refreshing and good. Loved their ceviche had a great kick of spice and lemon to it. Also the salted steak was very good too. Portions were large so i wrapped half of my meal to take home.“
