“In town for college visit and found this gem. Not sure if this is downtown but it's close to some gallery. The street looks fun and colorful.The diner has a blue and white outside. It's a tad older when u walk inside...but everything else made up for it.We were greeted and was told to sit anywhere we like. There were 2 rooms. We found a booth in the next room.Our wait staff came by right away and took our drink order. Menus were already on the table. It's moving swiftly.The food was so good and the price so reasonable and our wait staff was so sweet and courteous. She was working the room by herself and she did it with a great smile. Will def be back again for more breakfast/brunch or even lunch“

“Went to the old union for dinner last night (05-13-24) for mother's day. It was very busy but there are always enough tables even when it's busy. Normally the food is always great and the price is good for what you get. Service is generally good. My only complaint is that my burger was overcooked and I asked for it to be medium rare( slightly pink). My stepdaughters speedies were also overcooked and dry, so she really didn't eat much of it. I ordered a captain and coke but received a jack and coke instead. These are minor issues, but these small details make the difference between a 4 star review and a 5 star review. The chicken wings have always been great there and were great according to my mother and girlfriend. All around, we had fun and it was a good dinner. Some small details could be improved with better "attention to detail". It was very busy and it seemed as if the waitresses were a bit overwhelmed which can happen. Either way, I would recommend others to go there for food and drinks. It's a good place to go and always a good atmosphere. Patio was closed which was a bummer for those who vape or smoke.Parking: Plenty of parking lot space. Smaller parking area next to the building.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly environment in the dining area. I never sit at the bar so can't comment on the bar atmosphere.“

“Smells very fishy when you enter the restaurant which can be a bit off-putting. But what you really need to be mindful of is if they offer you soup or salad with your entree they will charge you an additional amount, without letting you know it's not included in the price! I mentioned it to the bartender and she said "it says it in the menu," Since I looked at the menu online I never saw it. Food was good overall, just a bad experience because of the bartender.“

“Went there on the afternoon of 4\13\24. The food and service was great. The hostess nearest the door was not so nice. In fact, he was a bit rude. Also, they took out any type of seating for customers waiting to be seated. I believe they would rather have their customers sit outside or in their car. The entrance between the double doors was very crowded with people STANDING while waiting to be seated. They really need to address this for their customers.“

There's plenty of filling, the filling is amazing in flavor and the dough was cooked and not soggy. I'm a trucker just rolling through and I will stop again. A bit pricey to Doordarshan but who cares, with flavors like this I highly recommend.“

“Great food. Had the chicken tenders and fries. We loved them. Then had the Reeces and Apple Pie for dessert. Lizzie was our server and she absolutely rocked. She’s a positive force of nature! Atmosphere is great if you’re a sports person. There are also a few games off to one side. Tables aren’t for the short legged, but work great if you’re tall. The booths were comfortable, too. We’d go back.“

“We didn't know the food service was inside a gas station when we picked it (we are from out of town), The workers were friendly. Both my friend and I got lamb gyros, which came with chips. The workers suggested we slowly peel back the wrapping like a banana to avoid getting the liquid on us. It worked!“

Amazing food, amazing branding, amazing staff and I have never had bad food from here. I come all the way from johnson city for this. I heard at one point there was gonna be a johnson city location and I hope that still does happen!“
