Great roadside takeout restaurant. Outdoor dining pavions with lovely flowers. Friendly staff with a terrific selection of food, beverages and ice cream. Gene’s Michigan stand is truly a gem. The Michigan Sauce they serve is hands down the best I've ever had. It has this incredible ability to always hit the spot and satisfy my cravings. The nostalgia factor is an added bonus for me, as my grandparents used to live near this place, and visiting it as a child holds such fond memories. Even now, as an adult, I find myself longing to visit more often. Gene's Michigan stand is definitely a must-try if you're in the area!
