Place is great! Was looking for some good Chinese food in town and definitely add Dynasty to the list. Would be killer if they can do a full array of dim sum at some point!

There is something magical about this restaurant. Ever since I was in grade school in the 90's, Dynasty has been an important cornerstone of cuisine in Port Washington. A little Russian boy in my 3rd grade class was so impressed, he did a school project on them. When you enter, you see a signed picture of Robert DeNiro, dedicated to John, the owner. This is a family restaurant in every sense of the word, in a very old school New York way. It's magnificent art and decor radiates class and prestige. The owner's son, Josh, is a kind, engaging, and funny host. The carpets make me feel like I am in their family's living room, and the gold dragon in their dining room, prowling along the kitchen among the high ceilings, makes me feel like I am in a palace or a temple. This place is not only a sanctuary, but really indisputably has the best Chinese food in town. Dishes that are both unique and traditional are presented with beautiful dishes and bowls, as well as complimentary tea in quaint little cups and kettles. This is a really good place to go alone if you want some TLC, or in a group if you want some entertainment and fanfair. I've seen John hold his own with the wise guys, and you can tell he is a real original OG himself. They have a full bar, and whether you want to be left alone with your food and drink, or have a nice chat, they will accommodate you. We love to get the eggplant dish, as well as the large soups that are perfect for sharing. Their rib tips are the stuff of legend, and a neighbor who had been going to Flushing for years to get soup dumplings decided that the one's here were better. They have fresh seafood and use very good quality beefsteak. There are some flavors I have experienced at Dynasty that I haven't encountered anywhere else. The Lobster Soong is a work of modern art. The sauces are expertly constructed. You won't find anything gelatinous or corn-starchy here. Just high quality vegetables and seasonings. Their parking lot is situated right outside on our waterfront's gorgeous Inspiration Wharf, whose beautiful horizon is the perfect end to a hearty meal.

Love this place, the food and service is great. I think they have the best shrimp fried rice in Long Island. Lots of shrimp with fired onions and peas, really delicious.

Our first time there, will be going there whenever we want Chinese food. Truly old school cooking. The soup broth was flavorful and wonderful depth. Best we've had in a long time. Also had their 3 kings of the sea. Lobster , shrimp, scallops in a pork enhanced lobster sauce. Thick, flavored with vegetables and eggs. Good lobster flavor.. Haven't had any that good in decades. Their peking duck was perfect, crisp skin, juicy meat and had both scallions and cucumbers. The pancakes were wonderful, so many places now use tortillas. These were thin but strong. One of the best meals we've had.

This health score violation is from only one month ago, Feb 2020. Why are places allowed to remain open with violations that sound incredibly dangerous and irresponsible? With a virus spreading like wildfire, how would I trust them to safely handle my food? Or at least there should be a way for the owners to respond here and tell us why we should trust eating there including what have they done and can they prove they have remedied the violation. There are zero good Chinese restaurants in PW and maybe if we could give up substandard food for a while and stop patronizing all of them, they could close and allow new places to open that we could pray are better. Not one decent place here. "Potentially hazardous foods are not stored under refrigeration except during necessary preparation or approved precooling procedures (room temperature storage)."
