We've been doing the Eastern Loop with SV Jenna's Journey and decided it was too hot to cook a decent meal in our galley where we were on the town moorings (an inexpensive option for those of you on a tight budget when away). The walk from the town dock drop off, along the Bay Walk Nautical Art Museum .. wow. While for some it might be a bit of a walk to Dirty Taco's .. it was well worth it. We did take the water taxi from the marina dock back to our mooring ball afterwards though, since it was getting dark. Win! Win! Greeted by the owner Phil and taken care of by the most wonderful Lexi ? (a cat lover like ourselves )and had the best meal, drinks, and wish they had a franchise back in my small town in Ontario. Her recommendations were spot on! The chef and wait staff there, couldn't ask for better service, making you feel welcome! You won't be disappointed (try their special IPA they maybe ? only served that night .. just ask), if you are a rush rush rush person, just be prepared to wait. Enjoy the scenery (great artwork ... I've shared a few in this review). Food is prepared fresh, and as a Type 1 Diabetic of almost 60 years (FatCatAnna is my ✒️pen name) .. my blood sugars stayed stable as I write this review .. 5.3 / 95!

I love the Dirty Taco in Rockville Center. This one is even bigger, with a larger selection of food and drinks, and an amazing north shore view. Not to mention the high energy vibe. A great place for a night out. Phil took great care of us.

It has a great atmosphere from the perspective that it's in a perfect Marina setting and attracts a relaxed and diverse crowd of families, singles, dates, etcBut, the piped music is a dit too loud for those who want to have a conversation.

Super loud music. Outdoor seating are quite limited and not good shades. While inside dining with poor air conditioning, fans didn't work very well. Food especially Fish tacos are very tasty, highly recommend.

We called for reservation information. We were told they don't take reservations but come down, the wait is not long. We got there in about 20 minutes, there was a 2 hour wait.We didn't wait. I can't imagine it would have been worth a 2 hour wait.And it's not La Mottas any more.

Not a bad spot for outdoor dining. What's good is you can pay after you order either credit or cash. The meatballs are delicious. Although, I'm unsure and confused ? why it's required to go to the bar to order your food with loud music rather than have the servers take orders at your tables. Shockingly they didn't have any strawberry daiquiris so I just got a water. I'm a little disappointed in their menu choices. I was expecting a whole non spicy lobster with broccoli and a baked potato, shrimp scampi, lobster omelettes, shrimp omelette deluxe, turkey burgers with crab cakes for a side, salmon, stir fry veggies with shrimp and either crab or scallops for a deluxe. None were on the menu but it would be nice to improve their menu with a more variety of healthier options. I was trying to make healthier choices and order a regular pound and a half lobster and veggies, but the bartender said that they have plain lobster rolls. They're very strict like most bar businesses where a customer cannot bring their own alcoholic drinks. While dining in, there was a rumor that my former job coach did it prior to me being here and possibly got caught showing up with an alcoholic beverage of his own as a customer without permission. He showed up when it was my first time going and he got kicked out due to a violation of the restrictions to my surprise due to greeting my diners and I. It was a little intimidating and disturbing that a man working saw my job coach as the alleged offender and he got kicked out For once, I side with the restaurant and other bar business due to it not allowing customers to bring their own drinks in which they could be drunk, the thought from the employer of customers getting a beer bottle without paying the bartenders thinking about a possible sneak tactic to steal an alcoholic beverage without anyone noticing.

The food is awful and customer service is terrible. The bartender actually Stole $22.00 from me. Because the service was so poor, I did not give the bartender a TIP. Thankfully I took a picture of my receipt. The bartender actually penciled in $22.00 in the TIP area without my consent and when I actually told her I am not giving her a tip. BEWARE OF STEALING BARTENDERS!!! Contacting Credit Card Fraud dept now.

Great night out at Lamottas last night with friends to see my friend's rock band! Good food we had Nonna's meatballs, salad and burgers and surprisingly good acoustics for an outdoor concert!
