We went back to Louie's for a family dinner after many years.Food was very good this time, much improved from what I remember from years ago, but it probably also depends on what you order (we had the branzino and ahi tuna). They have a unique waterfront location so hopefully they'll continue improving the food quality and service to achieve a five star level.

It was an extraordinary evening, the food was very good. We ordered the three-time offer and it was really no waste. The waiter Víctor did not serve very well, very friendly, they speak Spanish and English, recommended for family and sharing with friends, the prices are good comparing quality, quantity and price and the spectacular view.

My husband and I have found our new place! Great oysters from both the ear and west coast. Filet mignon was great. Didn’t even need A-1. We didn’t have reservations on a Saturday. Arrived a little after 9pm and place was packed. Some drunk lady was arguing about how she had been waiting for an hour. We thought we would have to wait a while for an inside table, but to our content we got texted pretty quickly that our table was ready. The oven roasted cod was very flaky. Crabmeat cocktail was made of real crabmeat. Great view of the water.

Great place for dinner in Port Washington! The service here was fantastic, and the overall experience was top-notch. The price is a bit high for the amount of food, but everything tasted great. We started off the meal with several appetizers including the raw oysters, burrata, and the octopus salad. we really like all these appetizers. For the main course, we ordered the porterhouse steak for two people, Ahi tuna, and the seared scallops. I enjoyed the steak but it wasn’t anything extra special. The scallops were really delicious! We are so got a variety sides, including the mac & cheese, brussels sprouts (toasted to perfection), truffle fries (good texture and taste), and the mashed potatoes (mediocre). For the desserts, I enjoyed the pecan pie and the Creme brûlée. The cheese cake was also great. I didn’t like the molten chocolate cake as much as I expected.Lastly, the view from the restaurant is one of a kind, especially during sunset!

Had a fun and relaxing weekend lunch with friends. Beautiful atmosphere and attentive service. I’ve been coming here since my college year (over 30 yrs). I’m local so whenever I meet friends or entertain guests from out of town, this is the place to go.Outdoor dining on the water is amazing.Food is ok. Baked clam is always good, but fried zucchini was too greasy. Salad was well dressed, and my friend’s chicken cutlet came with lots of mixed salad on top.Pastrami Ruben sandwich was huge. Flavor was average.Drinks were great! Had lots of beers and wine. We had a great time catching up with friends.Parking: Plenty of parking across street or by the town dock parking lot. Street with meter parking can be found easily too.

2024’s Long Island Restaurant week brought us to Louie’s on 2/4.A party of four, reservations were made via OpenTable. Upon arrival they were nice enough to seat me without the full party, I just happened to arrive first.Let’s start with menu options. Louis’s by far offered the most menu options for restaurant week participation that I have ever seen. There were multiple options to choose from for every course and they offered a glass a wine with your entrée for just $3.I went with the shrimp tacos as my app and additionally I ordered the lobster shrimp bisque. Tacos were good and larger than one might expect, which was nice. The bisque was just ok, hardly no seafood in it at all. A couple of the other apps at the table were fried calamari, crispy eggplant & zucchini chips and a wedge salad. For entrée’s I ordered the whole branzino and my dinning companions ordered two marinated skirt steaks and the shrimp wendy. Additionally on the table was a side of seafood Mac n cheese, that we swapped for the mash potatoes. The food was delish but between the bread, cocktails, appetizers and wine we were all already full. Collectively we decided to wrap up our food to-go and sample our desserts. We each went with either the chocolate mousse and crème brûlée. Both were light and refreshing but again we were too full to finish it.Overall Louie’s left me totally impressed. I’m looking forward to coming across the bridge for my return visit, especially in the summer. The food was good, the service was great, and the company wasn’t too bad. (Lol)Just A Note:They offer some pretty great deals outside of restaurant week. Summers on the waters, I imagined to be beautiful and the over plenty of parking with an additional lot across the street.

Had an amazing evening here at Louie’s ??From the venue, food, & service to the vibes. Simply incredibly beautiful & great music .The filet mignon & NY STRIP was good. What really stood out for me was the grilled octopus.I’m not really a fan of apple desserts but the Apple Galette had me wanting more ??Louie’s offers a great dining experience ??
