Earth Wind & Fuego catered my daughter’s baby shower. Madeline was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. The food she and her staff prepared was delicious and completely gluten free!

Want to feel nourished, belly, heart, and soul? Tuck into a meal at EWF and taste the love in the food. Outside my own kitchen, it's my favorite place to savor the delicious, healing ingredients of our region.

The best food I ever tasted and the secret ingredient is made with love. A warm, welcoming, friendly atmosphere. A must stop when in Poughkeepsie NY.

Good food, terrific atmosphere, but lunch service is a little slow. Customer service was great when addressing this issue however. Great community minded business too

An excellent eatery with a social mission.Positives: A very relaxed atmosphere that had very good food, at affordable prices. The social mission behind the restaurant added an extra flavor that made it all the more deliciousNegative: Location is slightly hidden off Main Street, and if unfamiliar there are some one way areas in the parking. A minor issue.I had first heard of Earth, Wind and Fuego from the Think Dutchess Innovation Challenge 2019, and based on learning more I decided to try them out. As a Hudson Valley native who wasn't aware of the initiatives that Hudson River Housing has made in the Poughkeepsie Underwear Factory, a historic factory building, I was very surprised once I walked inside. With an open floor plan design on the first floor, Earth, Wind and Fuego shares the space with North River Roasters, a local Hudson Valley Coffee Roaster. I was greeted by the hostess, placed my order, (the Bacon Blue Burger with roasted potatoes) and promptly seated myself. I opened my laptop and sipped some of the delicious coffee while I waited for my food to arrive. While there I was able to see one of the owners working with a trainee. The mission behind Earth, Wind and Fuego is to build inclusive and open training to disadvantaged and poverty stricken areas locally here in the Hudson Valley. A worthy cause to rally behind to help our local area.I was buzzed to the counter pretty quickly, grabbed my food and sat to eat. The Bacon Blue Burger was cooked to perfection, and the compliment of the pork bacon and their signature EWF burger sauce really created a delicious burger combo. The roasted potatoes were also cooked and seasoned just enough to compliment, but not hide the flavors.I didn't get a chance to try the desserts, but I will be back because the macaroons looked delicious!

A clean, fresh coffee shop and eatery. Lots of care went into the renovation of this building and the concept behind a community kitchen. Tables, floors and bathrooms as well as cooking area all extremely clean. The friendly, sincere staff takes customer satisfaction very seriously. Guests feel relaxed and comfortable. It's a little unclear where to go as you enter (e.i. Do I sit down? Order first?, etc., but you quickly figure it out.) Our food was outstanding. They take food allergies - at least gluten / wheat very seriously - and have a separate food prep area and grill to avoid cross contamination. Prices are slightly higher than average, but considering what it's doing for the staff and community ...it's well worth it. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommend it!
