First things first, way too much soy sauce. Insanely salty!!! Service was lovely. It was fun and lively atmosphere in the hibachi area. It's unfortunate that the food was over the top in soy sauce. Unfortunately, It lacked the traditional hibachi flavor. The pan fried pork gyoza were tasty and the soup and salad were nice. It's truly disappointing, the food was drowning in soy sauce. Unforgivable. You either know what you are doing or you don't. Apparently they don't. I don't know this hasn't been brought to their attention already by other patrons??? I hope they can fix this so we can return again. Cuz there is no way anyone should have to tolerate that much soy sauce. From the fried rice, noodles, veggies and proteins. Did I mention way too my soy sauce ? Yikes! I'm going to be crazy thirsty for the next few hours. How will I balance out that much salt?? Eeesh..

We've been here many times but this time surpassed itself. Sushi and sashimi were better than ever and so was the tempura. Quantity and quality was excellent. Service was excellent.

Don't go to this place, because they demand tips (that are not mandatory in the US, they are given according to the graciousness and professionalism of the staff) with that being said, making the story short, me and my spouse went to eat, we sat down with another couple. We ordered steak and chicken the other people ordered shrimp and chicken (ours being more money) the chef and staff catered more to the other couple in food distribution, the chef gave the other couple our steak (we don't eat shrimp) and a predominant amout of vegetables (that the couple did not eat but discarded) giving us more noodles than anything else, when it came to paying the bill, I am always in charge of the tip, so when my husband went to pay via charge, I tip cash, when I gave the tip, the waiter said to me," you are supposed to pay 12%!" Referring to the mandated 12% included, which we didn't mind paying, but my husband was taking care of that, I was paying extra being gracious. I told the waiter, "my husband is paying that via card, and I am tipping cash", this made me not want to give a tip because of His audacity ?, trying to tell me how to tip and provide them with extra money! We paid and left...personally, the experience was a negative one, the food and the demand for extra tips and the catering to others by sharing food we paid for and hardly received was a waste of time and money, so naturally we will NEVER go there again. With all the other restaurants in the area, we should have gone elsewhere!!!!! Not a good experience at all!

Had a reservation for 30 people and somehow had to wait for over an hour at the bar for our party to be seated everybody was there. Then when our chefs finally came to the hibachi grills they rushed through everything I ended up sick to my stomach all day the next day both ends next time we'll step it up and go to Mount Fuji.I'm not one to give bad reviews I was raised if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all but when it comes to bad service like this and food hazards I don't play around buyer beware

First time at Kobe today for lunch. We had sushi and we were in a bit of a rush. The food was very good and our server was excellent. We were very pleased and will definitely be back. Next time hopefully there will be time to look at the interesting Japanese art on display.Parking: Plenty of parking in the huge parking lot

Service takes forever....we got seated 20min after reservation and took about 1 hour to reveive all the food. Sushi....very mediocre. Raw fish is not really fresh...dried out. Hibachi....they drench everything with this fake way too sweet teriyaki sauce. Not good seasoning at all, tho the meat was cooked good. If you like very much Americanized non-authentic Japanese food, then this place does its job.
