This restaurant is the one I like best. I visit many restaurants but to this restaurant I go the most. The crew is very welcoming and the cuisine they cook is so fresh and tasty. I never miss an opportunity to have a decent dinner in this place. I highly recommend this place.

I eat in this great spot many times a year! This is my favorite spot to to have a good dinner. I go there routinely. The food is very good, the crew is courteous and the charge is reasonable. I enjoy meeting in this place over a decent supper.

Probably the worst Mexican place in town! The service speed was incredibly slow and everything inside is plastic. Plastic tables, plastic chairs, plastic tablecloth, even plastic food!! We were the only customers in the place on a Friday night around 7:00pm (should've been our first clue), and service was incredibly slow. The waitress stayed in the back most of the time and would rarely pop her head out. Ordered some nachos and a burrito, and both were shockingly horrible. The nachos were coated in this thick white pasty cheese, and the meat underneath had no flavor. The burrito was tiny and the meat also lacked any flavor. We also had upset stomachs for hours after this. The free chips and salsa were nice and the salsa was very good, if very very spicy. At one point we were all dying from the spice and desperately needed water but again, the waitress was nowhere to be found. It's really no wonder this place is so dead. Please PLEASE avoid La Fonda at all costs!!

This place has really gone downhill recently. I used to come here all the time several years ago when I attended dutchess community college and the food was always really good. I wanted to try it again to see if it changed - and it had. I got the chicken asada burrito to-go and became ill after I ate it. The chicken was dry and flavorless. The rice and beans had no seasoning and were very mushy. It tasted like it was made 2 weeks ago and was reheated about 3-4 times. I had the worst stomach cramps after eating it and couldn't leave my house the whole day. I'm really disappointed because I really used to love this place. I don't think I'll be going back.
