We thought we'd grab a quick cup of coffee and a little nosh. The place is very busy with people picking up their special Easter orders. There were no indoor tables, because they were filled with Easter breads. It reminded me of the old days of Arthur Avenue or Yonkers Avenue bakeries. An exposition of pastries and cakes perfectly and artistically crafted. We did pick up a cup of coffee and an apple crisp pastry. It's a huge slab of apples encased in flaky puff pastry. Delicious!

The Pastry Garden cake was included in our wedding package and it was amazing. The flavors we chose were fresh, the cake was moist and not overly sweet. They were also so accommodating with the flowers we were going to use to decorate. We had a lemon cake with vanilla custard and strawberry mousse. It was so good!The tasting process was easy and really so hard to pick! When we went for our tasting they gave us other suggestions with the choices we had made and gave us extra samples to help decide.We cannot wait to get our anniversary cake from Pastry Garden!

We got our wedding cake from the Pastry Garden and it was easily the most delicious dessert I’ve ever had at a wedding! The flavors, frosting, and decorations were scrumptious and exactly what we wanted. They had unique flavors for us such as Bailey’s and made the day that much better. Every one of our guests complimented us on the cake and their empty plates showed how much they enjoyed it. The tasting process was quick and easy and their prices were great. We would recommend them to anyone!

The strawberry buttercream, white chocolate mousse fondant covered cake turned out to be awesome. Not only was it delicious but the decoration was done exactly as the picture we showed them. Not to forget the price was best in entire hudson valley. Thank you pastry garden.

T. We came here to buy a vegan birthday cake. I called and they explained it would be frozen cakes but only needed an hour to thaw. This wasn't a problem because we had several hours before we'd be eating it. While there we ordered an apple strip ( basically an apple turnover without being shaped like a turnover). It was okay, a little t on oo sweet for me and the crust was a little soggy. Not really crispy at all. But it tasted fine. We ate it in the shop. There are a couple of tables that were all clean. The store itself was well kept, the people working there were all friendly. And the cake was delicious.

Had my daughters birthday cake and cupcakes made here. My wife and I had given them a childlike picture of a cake shaped to look like a pizza pie with toppings on top and ninja turtle faces along the side and they made it almost exactly to the detail of the mock up. Price was very affordable for the level of customization. It was also delicious!

I felt compelled to come here and leave a review because for years I’ve been on the hunt for a good cannoli. They’re so hit and miss and I often find myself disappointed, but I recently tried Pastry Garden while I was shopping and I LOVE their cannolis! In fact, I went all the way back today just to get some more. The staff is always lovely as well. I love this place and I’ll be back often, thank you to the whole team!

I gave a 3 for the taste. but for design i was very disappointed with the outcome of the cake. To make matters worst I paid an additional $400 to make my wedding cake a dream come through. I had burgundy rose to be delivered to pastry garden to be put on the cake and NOTHING WAS APPLIED. the gold design was more of a rustic color than Gold. To make matters worst it was lean. How proud and secure were you in delivering that for someone's wedding? If the design was too complex say something.
Rating 5 stars for excellent quality and selection, but they are the priciest bakery I've experienced.I stopped at Sierra on the way to the Adirondacks and was pleasantly surprised to find a local bakery next door! One of my favorite travel activities is checking out local bakeries. And then eating bakery things.They had a great and eye appealing selection. I got a few rugalach and found them to be much different than what I've had. They were moist and soft instead of the dry flaky. I got some other individual items and they were great too.I was in the area on my way back and decided to get more ruglachs. Also tried a mini bite size cheesecake (I should have got more). But I got 10 rugalachs and the cheesecake... it was almost $16!!!! Everything was boxed and weighed so i just paid, but yeah expect to pay for the quality I guess.

They provided a sweetheart cake and cupcakes for our November 16th, 2023 wedding. The whole process was very simple and the person I talked to on the phone was very pleasant and helpful. On the day of, the cake and cupcakes all looked amazing and exactly like we wanted and were also super tasty!
