Rush bowls is a franchise and this is the first one to pop up in the state of NY! The owner is sweet and will excitedly answer all your questions. I have a membership at Hand and Stone spa and like to frequent Pet Goods, so this place is conveniently located around the corner. Speaking of pets, dogs are welcome. I bought a Bow Wow bowl for my dog. They also have a bowl of water out for thirsty furry friends.

Friendly service and fun, tasty options. The vibe was chill with music playing. In a hidden location so kind of tricky to find.

Worth a little detour to get fresh fruit smoothies. The difference is clear - fresh fruit, and vegetables are the base for these delicious smoothies and bowls. Don't get discouraged- RUSH BOWLS is tucked in the very corner nook to the right of the European wax salon. I had no trouble finding parking. note, this is in the Shoppes at South Hills we locals refer to it as the South Hills Mall. It's the plaza that used to house Burlington and still houses Hand And Stone, Ashley, and Bob's furniture. The owner operator told me that it took her two years to get this franchise approved and open and that it's the first one in the region. The menu is straightforward, but you can customize to meet your dietary needs and taste. It's a bit pricey, but the value is definitely there. I absolutely love this place. At this point, I think I've tried every smoothie flavor they offer and they are all delicious but my two favorites are Tropical Bliss and Strawberry Sunrise. It's weird to want a cold smoothie in the middle of winter, but their ingredients are so fresh that's it's hard to pass up. Because it's located in the back corner of South Hills, it's very easy to miss and forget it's there. But if you're looking for a fun, fresh, and yummy treat while you're out and about on your errands, be sure to pop in here.

Very nice place. Just wish it wasn't tucked away in a corner. It was like going on a scavenger hunt to find it.

I was driving around POK on a rainy Sunday morning and needed something great for a light breakfast snack. I decided to check out Rush Bowls at The Shoppes At South Hills, formerly South Hills Mall from back in the day. Rush Bowls is a smoothie/healthy bowls chain with locations spread out across the country, mostly in Florida. This first NY location is very casual which signature bowls and smoothies (destination, wellness, endurance) are made to order. They also offer online ordering and a loyalty program. On Wednesdays (in 2023), they offer BOGO Free bowls through online ordering only. I ordered the popular Beach Bowl ($11.99 plus tax) which had a blend of Acai, Banana, Mango, Guava Juice and topped with crunchy Organic Hemp Granola & Honey and choice of topper (I chose fresh strawberries). The bowl had amazing flavors, a sweet and refreshing bowl. I enjoyed my bowl with a hot black coffee. I will definitely have to order a Southern Lemon smoothie next time!

I have visited this place three times and loved everything about the place. The bowls and smoothies are amazing!! They are full of flavor and not overly sweet. My three year old loves the smoothies there as well. I will be making this a regular spot to eat at.
