I saw a commercial for C restaurant and the food looked really good so my friend and I went to check it out. It is super cute inside - great atmosphere and details. The focaccia bread they bring is so soft and the olive oil is extra tasty. We had the frito appetizer, pappardelle, gnocchi special, and chocolate mousse cake. Everything was delicious! I plan on bringing my mom there next time she visits, but I might go back sooner to try some of the other dishes too.

Returned to C on a Saturday evening on Easter Eve. A few changes occurred over the past few months. Firstly, gone are the red chairs that, while stylish, grew uncomfortable after some time. They have been replaced with upholstered chairs that are much more comfortable. Similarly upholstered but smaller chairs of a different style are at the dining tables in the "bar room" so I would hope that they too are significantly more comfortable than their predecessor. A zebra or white tiger rug exists in the main dining area that unfortunately interferes with the new chairs. It's stylish but it bunches up. It's a work in progress. On to the food. The menu is more limited than in the past but the dishes remain exceptional. The watercress salad was excellent with a superb dressing. The Fritto Misto was excellent and large enough to share. The Chitarra alla Vongole was outstanding. Amazing tasting egg noodles in a luscious sauce that was described as a white wine sauce but tasted more like hollandaise. There weren't too many clams in the dish, a minuscule amount actually, so if clams are your thing skip it since it isn't very "Vongole". But for what it was, it was great. No doubt, C has a skilled and creative chef in the kitchen. The signature Lasagne was also fine but served a little too cool. The server made an excellent suggestion for a wonderful wine to accompany the dish. Dessert was Gelato that was OK. Previously we've had other desserts here that were really good but after two heavy courses we wanted to share something lighter. The service is professional and extremely accommodating, but the staff needs to learn to check in with the guests a minute or two after a dish is served to see if anything is needed. Also, like last time, the water glasses went without being refilled until we asked. Incidentally, this is a fantastic date place! The rooms are filled with live plants, the music is a mix of 80's classics with a modern "DJ mix"'of old classics mixed with modern hip hop but it's kept at a level that is ideal and doesn't interfere with conversation. This should be a 4 star place only because the minor slip ups in service, though minor, really shouldn't happen since the staff clearly are professionals who carry out their responsibilities in a professional manner. They all seem to get along well with each other and are truly delighted to serve their guests. But it's difficult for me to take a star off. C does serve weekend brunch which I've never had but friends tell me is "pricey" for what is included. In contrast, the main menu isn't pricey at all and a bargain compared to other places with comparable unique food. If I had to describe this restaurant in one word I'd choose "exquisite". And remember, it's a top choice for an intimate date dinner..

Got here at 3:00pm on a Saturday, so the brunch menu was still in effect (until 4:00pm). Started with the Frito Misto (calamari, shrimp, seabass and zucchini) which was delicious. Everything was lightly fried and tender. Had the Lasagna as my main. Also delicious, but I felt the portion was on the small side. Finished off with a Tiramisu and a decaf cappuccino. The Tiramisu had a tad too much cocoa sprinkled on top, but other than that, it too was delicious. Will definitely return.

We're very grateful for such a sophisticated restaurant in Kew Gardens. A neighborhood gem, and arguably on a par or better than many in Forest Hills and surrounding environs.

Super friendly staff and great food. This is a neighborhood gem, and I highly recommend this spot if you are looking for a fine dining experience in Queens. Cocktails are also better than most Manhattan spots (I recommend the Mona Lisa). We are regulars for brunch (especially the French toast) , but I recommend the dinner menu for a date night (it rotates based on the season)

We came for pasta and wine! The carbonara was delicious, as was the fusilli alla norma, however the fusilli was slightly undercooked/still white at the core. The spaghetti was perfectly al dente though, and we would definitely give them another try because both sauces were lick the bowl good! They were super busy so we didn’t want to send it back/wait longer for a replacement. The wine pours were GENEROUS in lovely XL stemmed glasses.

Very good food extremely friendly and accommodating staff ? ? Try the fried artichoke even if you think you don't like them or never had it before first time I tried it was here a year ago and I've dreamt of it every night since.

The service at C Lounge is excellent and the space is absolutely beautiful. The food is delicious no matter which meal you go for. For Valentine's Day, we enjoyed oysters, along with a porter house steak. And don't get me started on the cocktails! Highly recommend this jewel in Kew Gardens.

Amazing night here at C restaurant and lounge. The service was incredible (shout out to Klever and the manager!). The food was amazing , some of the best ceaser i've ever had. Branzino was amazing. The server even took care of us and took some drinks off when there was a rowdy guest right next to us. Great time over all! Will be back!

C Kew Gardens is a restaurant I wish I found sooner! The ambiance is fun and inviting, the staff are personable, and the food, cocktails, and wine are delicious. It is a great place to have a solo date night and meet new people, have an intimate dinner, brunch it up with friends, or host a private event.
