The food was not good. I asked for pastor (pork) initially but before the order started I changed it to beef. I saw it was not beef at all and came back. When i came back the guy at the register kept insisting it was beef but it 100% was not. He was lying and on top of that it was so disgusting that I couldn't finish it.Dietary restrictions: The workers will lie about the meat. Be careful if you don't eat pork due to religion/lifestyle.

It was very cute and the service was stellar. I ordered chorizo con huevos, it was fine but not worth $20 in my opinion. The corn tortillas were amazing though, hot and very soft. I’d definitely give it another try though and order something different next time.

This is some of the best food of any kind l've had in my 45 years living in NYC. Honestly, it's amazing, chef Jose is delightful and his dishes are so nuanced and delicious. Octopus tostados are heavenly, I have no idea what all it consist of but they are delicious. There are three, I can't eat more than two but the last is always enjoyed by someone else at the table. Burrito are a staple for my lunch/dinner... so fresh and comforting. AND I'm not really a fan of most Mexican food but this is on a whole other level. I just finished a salad of shrimp, avocado, mango, cherry tomato, with paper thin fennel shredded on top. The shrimp are cooked to perfection, not rubbery at all but ever so slightly firm and succulent. I live in Manhattan and there isn't anything near me as delicious and fresh. It’s really a special place.
Mexican-run place on 38 Av. in Long Island City. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with local and typical Mexican dishes. The service is friendly and the hostess very nice. Visited for breakfast with abundant and tasty dishes. Good price.

I drop by here all the time for a jugo de jamaica or their chilaquiles . I always get treated like family and they never disappoint. Their smoothies are also very good.

Loved loved loved this place!!! We had the best food here (late lunch) that we’ve had in a while. The octopus tostados, and the special – a seafood soup – spectacular. Very homey and down to earth atmosphere (nothing fancy). Service very attentive and kind. Absolutely recommend!

Lovely place for breakfast! There is a lilting Mexican music playing while the host and hostess go about serving their guests, all with a smile. Food is simple but tasty. Priced reasonably, you cannot go wrong ordering any one of their dishes.Tea is served as well as coffee and soft drinks.Nice decent tables and chairs. Good ambience.

What a neighborhood treasure! Had lunch from Xochimilco many times, and every time it’s fantastic. Always go back for their chilaquiles and tortas. So delicious and very affordable. Top of the recommendations list for my Astoria neighbors and visiting friends.
