If you’re looking for authentic, delicious, and affordable Thai food, Kin Sen is the perfect place. I’ve brought family and friends here many times now and will keep coming back. There usually is no wait when I come around dinner time but if you have a big group then I recommend calling ahead to make a reservation. Some of my favorite dishes I like to order here are Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and the Thai milk tea drink.

Delicious. I don’t have to add seasoning to hot pot. It’s perfect authentic thai flavor.

I had a great pad see ew here. Right about of flavor and spice. I would come and get that again. Moo ping ask very very good. However, my gf wasn’t a total fan of the noodle she got. Was a bit too sour to her taste. She don’t like that dish and pick the wrong one, doesn’t mean the dish is not good.Is a very solid Thai place and would come back again for it.Cash only but they take zelle/venmo

Recommended dishes: Pad See EW, Noodles

Ah say hello to my favorite Tom Yum Noodle Soup in all of NYC. Hidden in a small cozy corner of Elmhurst. The broth is spicy, sour, slightly sweet topped with all the delicious goodness of sliced pork, shredded pork, bean sprouts, fish balls, wonton sheets, and crushed peanuts. I like mine Thai spicy and the sweet server definitely came out with what I requested with an extra side of marinated jalapeños and red pepper flakes. A perfect bowl for a cold, rainy day.TIP: cash / venmo / zelle!

Solid spot for Thai food in Elmhurst, bring cash! I got tofu pad see ew, it definitely satisfied my noodle craving. Sauce was good and salty and the egg did a really nice job soaking up the flavor. I see it as a mark of good food when I taste the egg in the sauce and do a double take and have to check to make sure it's not meat, that was the case here. Even though I got takeout, noodles were still soft and didn't stick together at all. Thai Iced Tea was also tasty, creamy, less on the sweet side as far as Thai Iced Teas go, but gets the job done when you crave something refreshing and caffeinated.

I have been getting Thai Iced tea from this place for quite a few now, I usually ask for “No Ice” in all my drinks which is an option anywhere you go to any restaurant, surprisingly last time ( a week ago) I asked for no ice in this restaurant her response was “I will give you less Thai Iced tea” HOW? I never heard of such thing, If the customer prefers no ice or ice in their drink it shouldn’t alter the amount of the drink. So If me as a costumer prefers no ice, will this restaurant reimburse for the unwanted ice? Its absurd!!! Me and my family visited this restaurant for the last years but we will not be visiting and consuming any longer.

Hole in the wall find in the neighborhood. I know there are many Thai restaurant in the area but this one is a bit away from other Thai restaurants. The service is quick and staff are nice The pork skewer is really yummy hot and fresh when served. I also like the pad Thai and beef noodle

WOW food, service, and ambiance! The vibes here are so enjoyable just to hang out! I was seated and was told I could sit anywhere with a pleasant smile! You can tell everyone is just genuinely happy to be here! You can taste it in the food! The Rad Naa is such a great sleeper dish! A must try if you want something other than pad thai or the usual. The moo ping is amazingly grilled and seasoned to perfection! Such juicy meat without too much seasoning which is difficult to master. This is my goto thai spot in the heart of this hidden small thai community! Love it!

I came here for a Sunday lunch and I had a wonderful experience at this cozy Thai restaurant. We ordered: - Tom yum noodle was a highlight, with a rich and flavorful broth that had just the right amount of spice. - Moo ton noodle soup was also satisfying, with tender pork and herbal tasting soup

A month ago, my family and I had dinner here. My mom mentioned a famous Thai actor had visited here so she wanted to check it out too.The food was really authentic and savory. The drinks and sliced mangoes with sticky rice dessert were just as sweet. Overall, you can't go wrong here. The last two photos are of the Thai staff who took care of us. We had a great time. :)

Came here on a rainy Wednesday for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the flavors of the food. It's hard to find authentic Thai cuisine in NYC and Kin den is one of those gems.We ordered their moo ping, wing zaab, Nam tuk moo (pork) and Nam tuk beef. Their moo ping is reminiscent of what I would get at night markets in Thailand though the glaze isn't 100% the same but still very good especially with the dipping sauce that gives it a bit of spice and tang. Wing zaab was our favorite appetizer-perfectly fried wings coated in this spicy yet tangy (lemongrass???) crumble that you dip into their sweet sauce. Both their Nam tuk moo and beef were reminiscent of what we'd get in Thailand with the obvious price difference. Pricing is pretty fair as the portions were fairly large and all the flavors were on point!Though there was only one person taking orders and serving, we felt attended to despite the small restaurant being packed. It's definitely a cozy small spot - they get packed on weeknights so come for lunch if you can!Check out my foodsta @chiuventure for a closer look and more details of my dining experience here as well as other establishments in NYC and around the world!

Girlfriend wanted to try this place out and was surprised. Food had very good flavor and is pretty intimate. They don't take credit cards but you can Venmo and Zelle payment. Service was great as the staff was friendly and attentive. The moment we came in staff took my umbrella for me. We came at around 11 when the first opened so it wasn't packed. We also got a look at the staff lunch and it looked delicious. We asked what it was but it wasn't in the menu lol would consider coming back if in the area.

Came here for dinner on a Friday night and wanted to try this establishment as it replaced Dek Sen (never had to chance to try it tho). For starters, my friend and I got the Moo Ping (pork skewers) and Hoi Joh (shrimp, crab, pork, water chestnut, green onion tofu) as appetizers. For main entree, we tried the papaya salad, chicken pad thai, and the Nam Tuk Beef with egg noodle. My favorite was the moo ping, super flavorful and the sauce complimented the skewers well. The chicken pad thai was super sweet and the noodles were really thin. The food cooled down so quick and the noodles ended up sticking together. The beef noodle soup was pretty decent - good portion size and was really filling. Kept going back for more servings. The papaya salad was lacking.Service was good but the food was mediocre. I was full at the end but didn’t feel satisfied with my meal. Was good to try but not sure if I would be returning, unfortunately.
