I bought breakfast this morning and went to the company and saw something was wrong with the milk tea. I called the store and reported it. The ordering aunt answered the phone and typed it out, refusing to admit that there was something wrong with her milk tea. We don’t know what the problem is. Looking at this milk tea, we don’t dare to drink it.

Only at the end of the meal did I see a piece of steel wool. It was so unhygienic. I will never buy from here again.

A great alternative for when you're craving dim sum but don't want to go to a sit-down restaurant and would rather enjoy in the comfort of your home or on the go. I walked in and realized that it's a store with many different stalls selling delicious food. So many options to choose from but I was on a mission to finally try Dim Sum Garden Express. I initially came to buy sesame balls but found myself walking out with other goodies such as egg tarts and pan fried chive and shrimp dumplings. The sesame balls hit the sweet spot - not overpowering and big enough to share between 2 people. The chive dumplings were delicious, a solid 8/10. Quick service, no waiting. While the convenience of takeout was undoubtedly a strong suit, it's worth noting that the prices edged towards the higher side for dim sum.

The congee is kind of meh. Will not recommend. Their seasoning is on the sweeter side but it's definitely good. Their rice roll and the couple dimsum that I tried are all very good.

My go to place for dimsum. It always tastes amazing. My favorites are 燒賣 and 蝦餃.

shrimp rice rolls were delicious! our group of three finished a serving each.the crispy spring rolls, living up to its name, was super crunchy and flaky, perfectly accenting the chewy ano tender rice rolls. The sesame balls we had for dessert- ugh, easily the best part of the meal. If you don't go for dim sum, go for these chewy, crunchy, and sweet red bean paste filled buns. We each ate one of them- and they were generously sized balls too! ok, now we get to the shrimp dumplings. they were literally so hard ano stale, it felt like they were scratching the roof of my mouth on the way in. It was almost as if a portion of dehydrated shrimp filling was wrapped in half-soaked rice paper. Would never order them again. next the chicken buns. They were so sweet it tasted like we were eating dessert. Please hold off on the sugar next time. Not even one of the three buns we had ordered could be finished. We were pretty disappointed by the meat options on the menu so we decided to take the leaf wrapped sticky rice home. When I offered it to my brother as a late night snack, he tried sticky rice for the very first time and ended up eating all of them! So, for sticky rice first timers- this is not a bad place to try picking one up!

I had the spring rice roll (indicated in the photo). It tasted really good for me as a Hong Konger. I think it is way better than a lot of dim sum restaurants.

Terrible customer service. The person picking up the phone doesn't even go 10 seconds in, and she hangs up.

Order Uber eats here twice, on second order I paid $6.25 for literally 4 pieces of steam bbq tripe and they even tasted not fresh!! 4 PIECES! Not recommend!

Dim Sum Garden Express is a stall in a mall along Roosevelt Ave. When I entered, there was no one waiting to order. The items here are small but cheap. Ordered a beef pie that was bite-sized. This stall also does rice rolls with a modern twist such as serving it with stewed beef brisker or curry fish balls.
