Is it the current "rich city"? ! That's what's shown here. Today my husband bought half a roast duck. A man cut it up and put it in a box in front of me. When I got home, there were only a few pieces of meat on the surface and I don’t know what parts were on the bottom. It’s so deceptive and dirty. It’s bad. It’s really irritating that you use your mind and eyes like this?. It’s no wonder this business can last for a long time! ! !

My friend and I hosted a joint birthday with 30 people in their private room last month. Originally we were thinking Wu’s Wonton King but over the phone they told me they are only BYOWine. So glad we pivoted to Dong Yue instead. The private room has a $1200 minimum (including $200 deposit to hold) which was actually hard to hit because their dishes are so affordable, so we splurged and got the king crab 3 ways. It is SO worth it! Where else can you get such a large private room, all this food, BYOB, and no cake fee in NYC?!What we ordered for every table: king crab, whole Peking duck, sweet and sour pork chops, walnut shrimp with fried milk, salt and pepper squid, eggplant and chicken casserole, pan fried ho fun, braised bean curd with veggies, sautéed pea shoots, fried rice. Complimentary fruit for dessert. Everything was fire and we had so much leftovers to take home.I am really thankful to Lily who I coordinated with via phone the two weeks leading up to the event. Even with my atrocious Cantonese, she was so helpful and patient with me. The day of, we also had amazing attentive service while we dined for 3.5 hours basically until they closed. If you know Chinese restaurants, you know they are not known for their service lol.Lastly, I recommend paying with cash!

Bad service, and unstable food quality depends on if you are cantonese or not! Never go there again!
Great food and delicious Cantonese cuisine restaurant. The service is friendly. If you have a big group, you need to make a reservation for a private room. Love to be here and recommended.

Delicious Cantonese cuisine with a modern and clean aesthetic. Staff is super friendly and attentive. They offer reservations for large parties and we booked a room with karaoke machine.

I’ve had a number of private events here using their medium and large back rooms and they always provide amazing service. The karaoke is so fun and the rooms are nicely decorated. The food is incredible, make sure to call ahead for seafood as they buy it fresh from the market and will make sure they have king crab, sashimi, and scallops in stock for your party. Everything tastes great but if I had to pick—Must haves: snowpea leaves with century egg, mapo tofu, Peking duck, fried tofuFor those looking to splurge/banquet must haves: scallops with xo sauce, king crab 3 ways (steamed garlic, fried rice, and egg yolk)If you drive, park in the lot directly next to the restaurant. They will validate your parking and you can get it for free. Just know the lot is not 24/hr.I don’t have pictures because I always end up eating everything ASAP but next time I come I definitely will take photos!
