I walked in around 1:30 PM on a Saturday, and it was a bit empty. I believe it was that time of day post-lunch rush. There were many tables available. Our waitress was approachable and helpful. When we needed water or a drink or more food, she was more than happy to assist us. I also noticed she was bilingual and was able to help us in English and Spanish. I went with another Yelper who is Dominican so he chose the spot. I ordered a mojito and it was really sweet and strong. I liked it. We had delicious maduros (sweet plantains) and these beef cups things. I trust those who recommend authentic places. I see some reviews that mentioned lack of staff, but I didn't get a sense of this feeling. The bathroom requires a key.

I had my daughters baptism with about 13 adults and 4 kids and I cannot express how happy I am for selecting Estrella Latina as hosts. The staff were amazing and attentive to all of my guests needs. The owner herself made sure the process of planning was a piece of cake and stress free which was definitely a plus for me. We all felt super comfortable and like we were at home. The food and drinks were 100% amazing! No complaints at all I would definitely choose this place for any of my other events!Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly which help tremendously as it is not easy to take toddlers out to restaurants.

This is an excellent place to go try authentic Dominican food. The food was amazing. I ordered shrimp mofongo in a white creamy sauce, and my friends ordered seafood soup. They said the soup was super delicious, as well as the mofongo.Their service was great, and their natural juice were very good. I didn't order alcoholic drinks because it was lunchtime, but they looked great, too.

A great place for Dominican food. Whether you're staying or going, there's lots to choose from. And if you're going to get quick takeout, you can do that too as they have the common dishes in ready to serve style. The pricing and portion sizes are great. The combo deals are amazing price for the portions. The servers there are informal and nice. It's a medium sized place. Sometimes there's very loud music, especially closer to the evening and on weekends. Toward the back there's more seating and a bar area with a TV. Not sure if they play sports or anything.Definitely recommend!
I order from this place when my mom doesn’t want to cook. Delivery man is fast and sweet and the food is amazing and great portions.

Came here to make some phone calls and wasn’t necessarily expecting to be blown away, but their Pechuga Al Ajillo did just that! Great music, service & vibes all around. Definitely coming back.

Food is ok at best but the price is outrageous and service was bad waited 10 minutes and I was the only customer in the store if you are willing to wait as long as I did and pay this much at least get better food and go to the Puerto Rican Bakery
