This review is for the Hunny ghost kitchen location in the Bronx! First of all, I'm so excited to be able to order 순두부찌개 from home rather than having to go to Manhattan, Jersey or Queens for it. Second, the attention to detail is what sets them apart from any other restaurant I've ordered from. They write little hand written notes like HOW CUTE AND PERSONABLE! I'm vegetarian and the menu isn't really veg friendly but I leave notes requesting adjustments and they always deliver. The amount of restaurants that ignore requests outweigh those that are attentive to it. I'm sure it's annoying to deviate from the original listing but appreciate the time and effort invested into your customers' dietary preferences/restrictions. All orders come with two little candies in a little pouch, the soup is bagged to avoid leaks and a thank you note - again, the attention to detail is so cute! The bag everything comes in is even cute lol.Most places at this ghost kitchen don't last more than a year but I hope Hunny does well and continues to thrive for their awesome customer service and yummy food! ??

So, I must say I had high expectations for this lunch and was excited when I read the reviews. However the food was ordered through Uber eats and it was some the blandest food I have ever ingested. It was well cooked in regards to the rice being fluffy, the chicken being grilled but not dry. But there wasn’t an ounce of salt, garlic, black pepper or a single aromatic in this dish. They gave a sauce to carry the entire dish which to me was very lazy. I would not recommend.

I was craving tteok bokki and I saw this place on postmates so I decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint. I love that their meals are named after fictional characters so I only imagine the ambience of this place is my kind of vibe. The pork dumplings are so good especially with the Wanda sauce and tteok bokki is delicious not too spicy but spicy enough the servings are perfect and packaging looks great. Looking forward to going to HUNNY in person and trying everything off the menu!

Just ordered delivery today. Ordered a $20 Galbi Tang soup. Arrived with no kimchi or banchan. AND soup was greasy without deep beef broth flavor. Mostly tasted watered down. For $20 I would at least expect some banchan or even just a tiny container of kinchi. If you are expecting sides that you get with every other restaurant when you order Galbi Tang, do not expect it from here.

Ordered the Galbi Tang delivery. Paid $20 to only receive soup with no kimchi or banchan which is unheard of for a Korean restaurant. The soup also tasted like flavored water with no deep beef broth flavor.

I've ordered twice from here before. The first time I ordered the soft dumpling + tofu stew, which was pretty good and hit the spot. The next time I ordered the chicken rice bowl... which wasn't as good to me. It's very heavy. I only ate half the bowl. It was a bit too much sauce and a lot of pepper. I wish the sauce came on the side. The chicken itself was good (if it didn't have as much pepper). There were very few fries, and the fries that were found in the dish were very soggy at that point because of the sauce. The mandus are fried, so given the appetizer and main dish I felt so heavy as one does when eating fast food. If I were to rate based on the tofu stew, I would rate it 4/5, but just know what to expect when ordering here that it's very much fast food quality.

I placed an order on Uber Eats for BOGO Goku chicken Dubbap and was only sent 1 order. This was after already waiting 45 minutes for the delivery. I called the restaurant and explained the situation. At which point the bozo on the phone said she personally packed two bowls. I explained to her that I had one and would send a Pic to prove it and to please send my other half of the order. She said no and that it was possible the delivery person took the other order, even though the bag was stapled. I told her that would mean the delivery would need to drive around with a stapler, which she said, he probably does. She basically called me a liar and refused to correct the order. Worst customer service ever.... I hope they fire her for insinuating I was lying and provided shitty service. Whoever she is, she's a disgrace.

I've been a regular at HUNNY since they newly opened, but I never got around to leaving a review because I felt a bit lazy. However, I want to give a big shout-out and show some love to my favorite kitchen, who has consistently nailed my orders every single time.The spicy beef bone soup is my go-to comfort food, and I order it for dinner pretty much every day, so I can tell the difference between the earlier soup I had and what they serve now. I feel like they've increased the amount of galbi (beef), but the price is the same?! My other comfort foods are spicy soft tofu stew and their new fried dumplings (have them with Hulk sauce!)Besides the food, it's clear how much thought they put into each order. They remember me and include personal notes, which is such a kind and welcoming gesture. It was so sweet the last time I received it, I should have taken a pic of it.Anyway, all the staff look happy on their Instagram. Love that positive vibe behind the scenes. Happy staff creates great work!

I loved it. I ordered a soft tofu stew, asked for extra spicy and I got just that. The best part is that they offer it with actual pork belly (not common), and with extra spice it's thick with pepper flakes - just like the way... well, the way I like to make it when I'm not too lazy to do it myself.
