Did a drive-by on Saturday after dreaming of eating pizza the night before. Everything looked so delicious but I settled on three slices, two Sicilian and one regular. I asked to have all sliced in half so I could share them with my bestie. The first slice was a Sicilian mushroom and onion slice. The flavors were good, but sort of muted by the overabundance of sautéed onions which also made the sliced kind of greasy. The second slice was also Sicilian with a vodka sauce. Bestie and I enjoyed this one a lot. She informed me that she usually does not enjoy vodka sauce, but this was a good one. Lastly, I indulged in the regular slice, which was authentic, New York pizza and brought back memories from my childhood. It's hard to find a slice that makes me feel like that. Overall, I would return and sample other pizzas, as well as the pastas and that delicious looking chicken vodka Parm sandwich that was on display. The pizzeria is pretty large and open. The staff all had great vibes and I was happy to see that I can order on Uber Eats.

Good service, chill people working there but the pizza does not taste as good as it used to. It's mad gentrified now. 6.50 for a square cheese pizza slice is mad. Carlos pizza by the M train is way better and cheaper.

Some of the best pizza in the Ridgewood/Bushwick area. Sal the owner is awesome and hooked us up with espresso after our meal. Definitely one of our go-to spots moving forward.

They’ve been around for a long time. Really good pizza. (Have never been disappointed) Very nice owner and staff. Cool vibe. This place has been renovated, now more spacious. All around good service and food. Definitely try it out.
EDIT 3/8/24. I placed my final order tonight. The last three times I’ve ordered it has taken over two hours to get the order and when it finally arrives it is room temperature. I let it go the first time because they had just reopened in the new spot. Second time I let it go as a fluke. This time is the last time. Bye, Joe and John’s! It was great until it wasn’t. Booooooo.One of favorite places to grab a slice. I’ve never had anything from here that I didn’t love. And super reasonable prices. Oh, also, they deliver almost anywhere!

This was an alright experience for me. However, every time I go in to get a slice, it appears that they do not want my money. I stepped in tonight and ordered one buffalo, one cheese, and one bbq with chicken. First and foremost, it is too smokey at this place to sit and eat. Second, when I completed my one buffalo slice. I walked up to the counter to inform the cashier what I ordered; they charged me $23.66 for this, and they had the nerve to give me the other slices in a paper bag. So I requested a box; they didn't put the buffalo slice in the box. And this frustrates me as when I returned home, I saw that that paid for 4 slices and really was only given 3. You guys should have better training for your employees. Because this ridiculous. The service was never like this prior to the opening of the bigger location. You always got what you paid for!
