This Place is great! Food is delicious and tasty. We got the Beef Pares and the Beef Mami. The beef pares is really tender! And bone marrow that comes with it is also delish. Garlic fried rice is amazing. My suggestion that would make this Beef Pares perfect, is adding some kind of vegetable, on the side, to help cut through the savoriness of Beef. Perhaps some Garlic steamed bokchoy, or some atchara, or even just some tomato cucumber salad. Also, maybe giving the option for just plain steamed white rice would be great too, since the sauce of the Beef Pares is so delicious and you would want to pour it all over some plain white rice.Beef Mami- perhaps some crunchy chicharon toppings on top for extra oomph!service- greeting your customers as they walk in, would be great. Since there isn't a sign that say "seat yourselves" at the door. The setup of the restaurant and the vibe of the place definitely is for a "wait to be seated" kind of dining. A Simple Phrase such as "welcome, for how many people?" would not hurt. Acknowledge the presence of customers coming in; otherwise, they will be clueless and would feel unwelcome.Iskrambol- love it! I was really excited to see it on the menu!

Kalye Bistro catered the food for my birthday. They were incredibly accommodating in working with me to make dishes gluten free and/or vegan. They communicated regularly and with utmost professionalism. Most importantly, my guests RAVED about the food, even a week after the party! Guests ranged from having Filipino food for the first time to guests who had it all their lives - all of them gave unsolicited praise of the delicious food. We ordered the Palabok Overload, Sotanghon, lumpia Shanghai, lechón kawali, tofu sisig, chicken sisig, and garlic fried rice. Mwah - chef’s kiss!Thank you so much to Argel and the Kalye Bistro team! Highly recommended for dining in or for catering trays.

My family of 7 celebrated my mom’s birthday here. Food was absolutely amazing!! My mom is from the Philippines and gave the food tons of praise as well. I haven’t seen her this happy in a while. The decor in there is also very endearing. Thank you for the great experience and really yummy food!

The food here is great! One of our favorite spots for Filipino fare. The Bulalo and whole fried Bangus is so worth it! All the appetizers are good choices too. Definitely give them a try if you're in the area.

EXCELLENT Filipino versions of PALABOK, PORK SISIG, KARE-KARE IS TO DIE FOR.The only restaurant that we have brought ALL I mean almost all of our guests from other Country or State. They have limited sitting capacity which sometimes disappointing but making sure that you call and reserve makes it all WORTH IT. The quality of food is top notch and service deserves applause. When asked where to eat, this is our #1 go to place.

Not going to lie I was a bit disappointed. Saw the great reviews on Yelp and had high expectations. Also, I ate another Filipino restaurant in the area and loved it but this one was a letdown. The oxtail karekare was not very flavorful. The sauce was not salty enough I think, and the oxtail was soft but didn’t have much of a flavor, felt like it wasn’t cooked long enough in the sauce. The veggies tasted better in this dish. Also tried the palabok overload as everyone seemed to love this dish. I wasn’t a fan of the texture of the noodles but my friend liked it. But I feel the flavor wasn’t salty enough as well. It’s a peanut sauce apparently which I usually like but I just really don’t find it anything special. OH, I also have to add their garlic rice has no garlic flavor! What a disappointment! Also had the tofu sisig which to my surprise what’s the best dish. The sauce and the crispiness made it really yummy. And also their customer service was nice, but overall I think it’s overrated and I would try another restaurant in the area.

Drove to Woodside to checkout the Filipino food scene and we were not disappointed. Started at Kalye, then on to a local market then Red Ribbon bakery our final stop. The food at Kalye was very good and the service was great. While I'm not a Philippine cuisine aficionado I will say that most of what we had was fresh and flavorful. We also had a common holiday dessert that consisted of glutinous black rice, condensed milk, coconut and shredded cheese that was outstanding! We will be back in a couple of weeks to check out a new street food spot.
