The only place in the area it was busy with take out orders when we stopped in on a Monday evening. We had the Mongolian beef with fried rice... not bad but a bit salty. The salmon naturo roll was good, I just prefer it made smaller. I enjoyed the salmon tempura roll very much.

Excellent sushi restaurant in Ridgewood. The sushi is delicious as are the hibachi meals. We dine in and take out from here often. Reasonably priced too with a terrific lunch special. Highly recommend Kanji Sushi Hibachi!
We returned and the food was just as fresh, delicious and well presented. The highlight of our experience is the service. I wish I knew her name, the front end worker this restaurant is kind, attentive and provides excellent customer service.

Absolutely divine affordable sushi. Since moving out of NY, I missed easy access to quality but mid-range priced rolls, and this totally hit the spot. Big fat stuffed rolls, not overloaded with rice. Price comes out to about $6/roll if you get a 3-roll combo. The udon noodle stir fry left something to be desired (under sauced, beef a little chewy) but the sushi more than made up for it.

Food was not good. The coconut chicken was chicken nuggets with some sort of coconut drizzle on it. Very disappointing. The fried rice had no flavor , no onions or anything. The sushi was bad and didn’t taste fresh. Complete waste. Avoid at all costs.

I just had a takeout and now I’m on a toilet having a diarrhea. I had food here before and I never had issues like that. I also do a 24 hr fasting, so I didn’t eat anything else. The place is good but maybe a sushi maker didn’t wash his hands or smt was spoiled? I won’t eat here ever again since it’s a health hazard.
