I definitely recommend Kora! The donuts are delicious, unique and so beautiful. I tried five different flavors: Leche Flan Ni Lola, Ube, Abokado, Itlog Na Pula (Salted Egg), and Manila Cream. The Leche Flan Ni Lola was my favorite by far. So so good! Definitely want to have it again. I also really enjoyed the Abokado. Some of the donuts weren't my preference, however, I really enjoyed the experience of getting to try the different flavors. The packaging was also gorgeous. Highly recommend ordering and enjoying with friends.

The Ube coconut pie is the stuff of dreams. The best pie I have ever had. It’s creamy, not too sweet with flaky crust. Every element is perfection. Highly recommend not making the same mistake I made by only getting a slice…

Kora has been on my radar ever since they started up during the pandemic in 2020. I heard it was impossible to get a box, so I forgot about it for a while until I made a recent trip to LIC. Donut orders open up online at 1pm on Saturdays. I ordered a box on Sunday afternoon without any issues, and there were extra boxes available for walk-ins when I went to pick up my donuts the following Saturday afternoon. Donut flavors rotate monthly, and you have to buy a box of five donuts. They're definitely pricey ($37.5 before taxes) but given the quality and the variety and uniqueness of the flavors, I think they're worth it. Their cookies also look amazing, so I'll have to grab a few next time I'm in the area! Quick review of the Mar'24 donuts: Overall the brioche donuts were light and fluffy, and I liked having crullers in the mix as well. The donuts aren't too sweet - I usually never get filled donuts because the fillings have way too much sugar but the filled donuts were just right for me! The crullers were on the sweeter side given the sugariness of the glaze. Filipina cruller - strong pineapple and rum flavors (I was surprised this one was filled!). I'm personally not a huge fan of rum but both flavors definitely came through and my friend really liked these. Ube - solid brioche donut with a thick ube custard custard inside (it almost felt more like an ube puree than custard). I liked it but adding a sharp, fruity component would've been nice since the flavor is a bit one noted. Bayabas - guava cruller. Really strong guava flavor - I liked this one too but it was on the sweet side. Abokado - filled with an avocado cream with avocado chunks inside! Good but like the ube donut, the addition of something fruity to cut through the creaminess of the avocado would've been nice. Raspberry and Lychee - this was my friend and I's favorite donut. The raspberry flavor comes through the most, but there are subtle notes of lychee.

202310Very beautiful dessert! It’s very cool to bring to a dinner party. It seems that there is no need to grab it now. It will take a while to take the subway to the pick-up point.

My friend had to set up the whole pick up, and I see why it's such a process. These donuts are LEGENDARY. It's crazy that they just are all so flavorful and different. It's so unique and lives up to its reputation. They have new donuts often, and I can not wait to try other ones. For the February menu everything was crazy delightful. Everything was so different and unique I think this be a perfect gift or dessert to bring to a potluck!

My favorite doughnuts in NYC! Thankfully, the hype has died down, and it's no longer impossible to get a box. The online ordering process is very easy, and you pick up at their location in LIC. When we went to pick up our order, the guy working there said that they had extra boxes and a woman was able to just buy a box there. Even when I got a box a year ago when there was a crazy waiting list, the doughnuts lived up to the hype! Their flavors are always so unique and creative, and I love the story behind Kora as well. These are brioche doughnuts, and they're so light and fluffy. Even the doughnut with the flan in the middle isn't overly heavy or sweet. All of the flavors are so well-balanced. They are a little pricey, but that's to be expected considering they're a small team. I will definitely be ordering more of these, especially because they always have new flavors to try!

Filipino-inspired doughnuts tasted and look scrumptious!! ?? From traditional flavors like ube (purple yam) and pandan to innovative twists like leche flan-filled or coconut-milk-glazed, there's a lot of potential for deliciousness. ? Maintaining the balance between the classic Filipino flavors and the familiar joy of a doughnut. Overall, I am 101% satisfied with delightful fusion of Filipino cuisine with the beloved treat of doughnuts. ? Taste like home!!!! ?

WOW highly recommend their doughnuts!!My pet peeve is doughnuts with dense, almost bread-like dough but Kora’s doughnuts are light and fluffy !I LOVED the mora (blackberry)jam in the pili & J doughnut. Berries tasted fresh and had a perfect flavor balance of tart and sweet. Also loved the kalamansi amapola and the itlog na pula doughnuts. The calamari curd and salted egg yolk custard were huge standouts! You can only pick up 3-6pm on Saturdays and you must preorder online.Definitely will be back!

Authentic donuts to say the least. My partner and I have wanted to try these donuts for over a year and finally reserved a box (on a Tuesday) and went to Queens for pickup on Saturday. The calamansi w/smoked meringue was hands down my fav. Light and tarty. The twist donut was our least fav bc it had these very nutty almonds on top that were overbearing and not in a good way. The spot to pick them up is a bit far from the E train and in an industrial area but if you want good donuts, you need to work for them.

Very fresh delicious "fluffy brioche" doughnuts with unique dynamic flavors. I've been following these guys on social media for a while and was happy I got a chance to finally try their donuts while in NYC. It was easy to order online, but somewhat hefty with a NYC price tag ($37.50 for 5 donuts + taxes and fees). January '24 order flavors came with Ube, Leche Flan, Kalamansi (tasted strongly sour like Key Lime Pie), Salted Egg Yolk (super rich salted egg yolk custard sweet and salty), and my fave for uniqueness a "Pili & J" cruller (first time trying Filipino Pili nuts which were extra rich and nutty roasted cashew nut-like). It's certainly a fun culinary experience trying Kora's doughnuts and nice to support a local biz - the donuts tasted lovely and well crafted. Nothing was overly sweet or overpowering, each was its own star. Pick-up is a bit out of the way in an industrial neighborhood but fast.

These doughnuts are SO good! I ordered my first box in Jan 2024 and this is the best dough I've ever tasted. It's light, fluffy, and savory. Koras flavors are very creative. The most interesting flavor was the flan doughnut - there was literal flan in the center of the doughnut! My favorite was the sans rival. The roasted cashew texture and flavor was superb. Be careful! Most of the doughnuts are not too sweet, which is dangerous because I couldn't stop eating them. I'd highly recommend ordering Kora doughnuts!
