Great date spot with plenty of ambiance and decent food. Always used to walk by here and always saw it active in regards to people coming in to date and to just eat or drink. Their drinks are great and they have a few options. For me the frozen sangria margarita combo recently was a great buy. The quality and flavor or the meat is great and the sauces also help. For this case i got the carne asada tacos. My only issue is that The website for this place made it a bit difficult to find the info i wanted about the food prices. The average price is 6.50 depending on what you get. The service is great but i kinda was looking for a bit more, still great to come to .

I've been coming here since the pandemic. My fiancé and I have had great experiences when it's just the two of us. Or if we're 4 ppl or less. When we try to come with the family. Usually about 8 of us. Then it's a different story. This happened twice before. Last Wednesday we came to celebrate my daughters birthday, she wanted to come. They had seating inside but they said they couldn't sit us there that we had to sit around the corner on the outdoor area. Mind you that table is a plastic picnic table next to the bathroom (yeah you can smell it) and the other door that goes outside to access the outdoor seating area. That day was very cold and even with the heater that opening and closing of that door made it very cold. We ordered drinks and that took a minute. Then we ordered our food and it took almost an hour to get it. Usually I would say something but since it was my daughters birthday I didn't want to upset her. We got the food and it was cold immediately because of the opening and closing of the door and then of course the smell of the bathroom. Then my porn80 year old mom had to eat with her coat on. We asked the server if they had hot tea. She said they had hot water but no teas.... WHAT???? SMH After dinner, we were heading to another place nearby for cocktails and when my daughter stepped out, that's when I asked for a manager. I explained everything specifically that we shouldn't be smelling the bathroom while we eat and the plastic picnic table. He just kept apologizing and stating they've been thinking of changing things but I'm like when? This has been like this for as long as we've been coming. Finally he compted half our bill but honestly they just lost a customer. Because if you can only accommodate me and an additional person but I can't bring others to share in the experience as a group then you can't have my business at all. When my family is all together it's usually about 6-8 ppl. Picture of the birria sopes that I couldn't enjoy because they got cold immediately.

Service was fine, vibe is fine. Coquito was excellent. Me and my friend audibly laughed at the tacos. Overpriced and so hilariously small for what are just "OK" tacos. After finishing we walked down the street and ate actual tacos for a fraction of the price.

Passion Fruit Margarita, Chips & Guac, Bistec A LaMexicana. Pro tip order Elote (which is corn) with chips and guac and take turns dipping from the guac & corn.

We were big fans of their food and overall atmosphere. We were looking for a late night meal on a weekday and this did not disappoint. Slightly on the expensive side but that is all of NYC! I would recommend.

An excellent experience all around. Service was super fast and pleasant, the food delicious, and the place nicely decorated. It has a more "lounge" vibe than other mexican restaurants. Spoiler alert, the aguachile is to DIE FOR!

A solid Mexican restaurant in the area - a bit more modern and darker than some of the other brightly lit Mexican restaurants nearby. The food and cocktails are more creative and inspired than traditional flavors (and priced accordingly). Had dinner here recently and enjoyed the guacamole, octopus quesadilla, and a few tacos.Service was nice and attentive.
