Nice place but has some problems first I saw that some of the drinks are expired in the fridge and they still sell them also I sometimes see them use their bare hands and make the kababs which is cool but everything stays in one freezer so it's probably cross contaminated. The food is nice but nothing special their oysters are nice thou.

This place is great to have late night meal with friends. Average price for their skewers are about $2 which is alright but they do have cheap beers. We love their bean curd salad. Good and fast service. The place isn't super clean but not too bad.

The food is good, service is fast but this is a in and out type of place. It's not the cleanest but it's efficient. Pricing is okay as most skewer places are averaging $2 per stick now. We got the fried rice as well as the tomato noodles. Those were both pretty good. Texture of the noodle was alittle weird. Dumplings were good but it makes your mouth stink. 3.9/5.0 star experience Tip: don't get dumplings if you are meeting someone later on

This restaurant is one of my favorite Chinese BBQ spots. It is located in Flushing, and it's very close to my wife's house. All the food we had was excellent. We ordered a variety of meat cooked on a stick: Lamb, beef, Chinese Sausage, and quails. In addition to the BBQ dishes, we also had some seafood like oysters and scallops. All the dishes go well with beers! In order to fulfill our cravings we also had some dumplings, chicken feet, and even snails! The dining area is kind of small, so it's better to come early or late in the evening to avoid the crowd. Food is prepared in the kitchen so you will not get the smell all over your clothes. I still suggest wearing casuals when visit this place.

There was a time when Liu Bu (伙伴烧烤) was the de-facto late night destination for sit down Chinese skewer action. Fast forward to current times, it's still open late night, but hardly a destination at this point. It's likely one part pandemic, and many parts food quality mediocrity. The latter has been lacking so hard that I think even 3 stars (#1) might be generous. When I first came here several years ago, it was the place to be at 3AM and beyond. Small tables and fast service combined with some solid food (lamb, gizzards, lamb noodle soup were the go-tos), made me feel like I was back in China finishing up a nightlife filled evening. The menu was vast and the vibe was super unpretentious. Its reputation as a no frills late night joint is still intact, but the service has taken a bit of a nose dive (read: slow and rushing folks out) and the food hasn't felt the same. Many of the skewers were dry and the noodle soup broths are very bland. Some of the cold dishes (cucumber, pig ear salad, and preserved egg + tofu) looked as if they were sitting out a bit too long, and was disappointed in the thick dumpling skins. I was hoping it was just a fluke, but nearly all of the food that was ordered was very subpar. Prices are on an uptick (cold dishes can be $10+, skewers are between $2.50-$4), but still relatively affordable all things considered. I hope they can return to their glory days. I think the place has been a mainstay in this part of Flushing and there's not enough sit down spots for the rou chuan (#2) experience. This is one of the few places that offers more than just a little BBQ, but could use a big lift in getting back to where they started. My kebab fingers are crossed that they revert back to a more delicious version of themselves. ____________ (#1) Likely a 2.5 at best. Rounded up. (#2) 肉串 - skewer.

Soup without any ingredient. Did I just order hot water ? I understand business is slow. But come on ..

Honestly, this is my guilty pleasure and my favorite Chinese BBQ spot in Flushing hands down. The food here is very consistent and always tastes great. They are open to late night and it is a very good spot to gossip and drink with friends at night Just know what you're getting yourself into before coming here! The meat isn't as high quality as say Friendship BBQ but what makes this place taste very good is the amount of seasoning they put onto the meat. If I were to compare, friendship bbq has a more clean taste with higher quality meat while this place has more seasoning which packs more flavor! If you are a lover of salt and seasoning, this is the place to go. I always order beef, fish tofu, chives, sausages, and the buns! The buns here are so freaking amazing. Sadly, if you aren't Chinese or can't speak Chinese, there is going to be a language barrier. They can generally understand you but just don't expect the service here to be great. It's a hole in the wall!

Visiting Flushing and wanted to scratch an itch from the days I lived in 深圳. Hadnt found a place that mimicked it like the mainland places and this was my second experience in Flushing for 串串烧烤 (skewer bbq).Wasn't sure if the skewers were cooked over coal but the intense heat from a hot grill was there. If you've never had these kinds of skewers before, you may be in for a pleasant experience. Pairs excellent with beer as is the norm for this cuisine in China.Costwise, it's pricier than I thought it to be but then everything is expensive since Covid. It made me reminensce how inexpensive it was to eat while in one of the most expensive cities in China. $1.75-$2.25 for cauliflower/vegetable skewers? I couldn't bear to order that and stuck with meat options. The Beef tendon was delightfully delic. It's soft and tender and spiced just right. I ordered lamb and lamb tendons and couldn't tell when they arrived. Never had lamb tendons and felt it was identical to beef tendons. Both yummy. If I couldn't tell which was the lamb meat, then something was off because rest of the meat options I had ordered were chicken. The chicken leg was a whole drumstick (good ole' USA hormone fed chicken sized leg) so that caught me off guard in terms of quantity of meat on a skewer. This may had been the biggest bang for the buck. The fried beef noodles carried a nice spicy punch to it. You couldn't tell by sight. We meant to order a soup noodle but enjoyed the fried version instead. Mmm, carbs. This was to me the spiciest dish we had ordered and I can handle heat. It's likely unlike any other dried noodles you may have had especially if you're experience of fried noddles are mainly Cantonese/Taiwanese style.

This is literally my favorite place to eat Chinese barbecue. I come here around once a week , and the food is always on point especially the grilled buns. The seasoning is great and everything feels really authentic. The service can be a but rough at times but they're always nice to my boyfriend and I. Amazing food, good service, authentic atmosphere, good place to drink and eat.

This is whats wrong with flushing business during the pandemic . food is mediocre at best and was recently shut down by the state for serving alcohol without a license. having large gathering outside and people smoking right by the door all night long!
