Excellent service - hospitable and gracious. Inside was clean and warm, exposed brick with full wine racks on the walls and a bottle on every table highlighting their selection. Music was low but lively - setting a good mood for conversation. This would be a great date location or a place to have a quiet meal with a friend. Hidden Peruvian gem in Wooodside. We tried the special - a sampling of many of their dishes. This place does fried stuff well. The ceviche and dish similar to paella was okay. What stood out to us was their hot sauce - they should bottle the stuff - perfect heat, vinegar, and sweetness ratio, hurts so good! We hope to be back!

We were super delighted coming to Bistro Punta Sal. The service, vibes and food was excellent. We ordered the ceviche mixto, rellenos, and fettuccine with steak. This restaurant feels like a local gem & the chef is on point w flavors. Cute date night spot too (:

This place is absolutely AWESOME! It was my first time in this restaurant last night. The food was delicious! The service was amazing! Our waitress Josue was excellent, very helpful provided feedback for all the menu, and prepared a delicious Sangria!! The food, drinks, and the place are on another level! I’ll definitely come back. Highly recommended!!

Cute little white table cloth restaurant with great food, service, and reasonable prices. We got the ceviche and the steak salteado and both were great !

Together with my family we had a very bad experience, the food tasted very bad, they sent me the bill with changed prices, then the bill that was not from my table, the aggressive waiter, I do not recommend them.

This was one of my favorite places since I live in Woodside, the food is delicious, the waiters are very attentive but lately the portions are very small and the prices are very high. I understand that everything has gone up. I have many friends who think the same and they no longer go. Very small portions and prices do not match the area, what a shame they change so much

My girlfriend picked this spot for Peruvian food. I liked the ambience and the food was great. Now for the fact I deducted two stars: I took one star off because one of the dishes my girlfriend ordered (I don't remember the name but it was meat stuffed in potato) had an olive that had a pit in it! Thank god I was careful to chew because otherwise I would have broken my tooth. I took another star off for the same reason: my arugula salad, while tasty, had a dry rock-hard bean in it! I unfortunately bit into it, but didn't break my tooth. To the management: quality control!

Excellent Peruvian, in a Queens Latino neighborhood. A little $$, but their Chef does good work. The Sampler Trio of Ceviches was outstanding! Innovative, tasty, and well presented. Their offer of a free glass of wine has expired, but all their food was well made, service was excellent, and one more thing: The BEST Pisco Sour in Queens!!
