I always come to this location as it’s near my home. The last three times I’ve came in to pick up my takeout order, I’ve had to wait 10mins or more while there’s always someone right there at the front desk, but for some reason I’ve been ignored the last several times and I can see my order ready and today they went past me to take the UberEats drivers request when I was standing there before him for 10mins. I absolutely do not want to come back to this place as their service has been awful.

I was on a date night and have been looking forward to coming here for a while and boy was this place a complete disappointment. This review is about the lack of communication with the waiter, and kitchen. It really ruined my dinner because I did not get my dinner.Mad for Chicken is a very large space with a full bar. They were busy but not that busy at all on a Friday night. We were seated right away and everyone was polite and friendly.I ordered their chicken drumsticks with chicken thighs. The waiter said chicken with wings. I corrected him and showed him on the menu what I wanted and he repeated my order and said ok. I also ordered truffle French fries. My other half ordered their Spicy chicken sandwich that came with fries plus a Kirin Ichiban.10 minutes later the spicy chicken sandwich came out and it was hot and looked delicious but it was not my dinner. I of course told my other half to eat and enjoy his food while it was hot. I waited for an additional 5 minutes for my dinner. When my dinner finally came out it was not what I ordered it was chicken drumsticks with wings so I returned it.At this point, I still have not received my truffle fries. I think if they would had brought my truffle fries, waiting for my correct order would not have been so bad because we would be eating together. Now about 20 minutes later. I do not think that the waiter communicated with the kitchen about my wrong order. There was no immediacy to bring out my correct order. The kitchen was sending food out to other tables while I was waiting for my correct order, plus truffle fries. My better half finished eating his dinner and I was still waiting for mine. The waiter said nothing to me about my order. What would you do? I was so annoyed I just wanted the check because we came out to eat together. I ended up watching him eat then he was going to watch me eat whenever they decided to bring out my order.What a waste of time. Even when we were leaving the women in the front asked us what was wrong, and we told her. Her response was next time it will be better. Ok, there will not be a next time for me thank you.

I had high hopes for this place but really disappointed with the food I ordered as it was small, seemed processed and cheap. Got the grilled chicken sandwich with avocado. The brioche bun wasn't a real brioche bun, the chicken looked like it had been sitting around for a couple of hours and microwaved and was flattened out and small. The ranch dressing wasn't even a real grand stressing. All in all cheap, tasteless overpriced and under portioned. I could have gotten better food at Wendy's
MFC is my go to place anytime I'm craving fried comfort food. This location specifically has a large seating area and is great to go to last minute when you don't have reservations. I also will say that their chicken wings are a LOT larger than other locations which is a huge plus. If you come here I'd definitely recommend the signature wings with half and half soy garlic/spicy soy garlic sauces. Honestly don't need other sides, but they are also great! The complimentary popcorn flavored with curry powder is actually a great combination and one of my favorites. If drinking, would recommend the lychee soju carafe. The small size is relatively cheap and can be split among 2 people.

I have tried two times from the forest hills and didn't enjoy the chicken at all. I gave it another shot at Sunnyside and the experience was even worse. The chicken wings were bland, no taste inside meat at all. The tteokpokki was cut in half. You charged $19 for one dish and you can't even give a whole rice stick? Ordered the kids Bobolki bowl and it came out in a cup. Come on MFC! You can do better than that. All the food are over priced , no taste , not coming back again! The service was good served by a guy who quickly return to get the check before we leave.
