Absolutely love this bar, one of my go-to’s in Astoria. The ambiance is great (highly suggest for a date) and the entire staff is fantastic. Their cocktail menu is awesome - their espresso martini is my gold standard! No food, but you can bring in your own :)

However, my recent experience at Maggie halls was marred by the rudest bartender I've ever encountered - Colin, the one with the long beard. His condescending attitude and unfriendly service left a sour taste. We won't be back until he's no longer serving.

I'm lucky enough to live in close distance to Maggie Halls and have had nothing but great experiences. Great cocktails including their midnight martini and a stellar craft beer selection (including the KCBC Fruited Sour). Whether you are sitting in their back courtyard or inside at the counter, each member of the team behind the bar makes you feel right at home. Will definitely be going back.
