Martha's is an Astoria classic! We came here on a Saturday morning and enjoyed blueberry and raisin bran muffins and great coffee. As an added treat we bought baklava to enjoy in the afternoon back home. The service was great with knowledgeable and attentive waitstaff! If you want a great pastry store... this is the place! An Astoria classic!!

Cute place! Husband and I went in for some cheesecake to take home and it did not disappoint! Very good, creamy, a nice balance on the flavors. Service was very good overall.The next week, I had ordered a mocha to pick up on the way to run some errands. I got there and the mocha had been put inside of a bag- wrapped in plastic wrap, which is no issue, but someone had set it on its side. As you can imagine, a drink laying on its side wrapped in plastic wrap is cause for a big mess. I could feel that someone had put it on the side, so I opened the bag in front of the hostess, and confirmed that the drink had leaked all over the inside of the plastic wrap and handed it back. The hostess took it back to the person who made it to remake the drink. I think they thought that I was upset it was in plastic wrap, as upon returning it was explained to me that they have to do that through that specific meal delivery/pick up platform. This was never an issue, just the mess. Who wants to unwrap plastic wrap covered in coffee from the inside?Regardless, I will be back, just not ordering drinks to go again.

Cakes are to die for! They always deliver with consistency and amazing cakes when you need it. I literally only ever get cakes from here now. Service was amazing and quick, super friendly. My favorite has to be the Oreo layer cake, the sweetness level to the layers of cake and cream was perfect! Love it and definitely visiting more often.
