Very cozy and common. For being located so close to Wall St, this is ideal place if you don’t want to overspend and get a good cozy atmosphere without feeling like you are out of place for not wearing a shirt and ordering some 20 ingredient cocktail.

They oughta landmark this place. Traditional Old School bar. Veteran owned and operated since 1949! I'm 67 & joints like this are disappearing. Friggin shame! Great bar, any time! Val is an angel!

Came in around 12am today, absolutely no one attended to us or even acknowledged us. We only got four green tea shots and we wanted more drinks, we kept trying to get their attention and they never came to us. Service and atmosphere was very poor.

This is a hole in the wall dive bar. There’s a full bar with a smoke area outside in the back. A great plus is that the bar stays open until 4am. The only con is there is no food.

I've been coming to this bar for years with my coworkers. The experience is much better now that the "crazy" red head is no longer there. Bartender is attentive and drinks are reasonably priced.

The Post Time was and still is the best bar around.When I lived in Elmhurst ,we would start at Candeas but always ended up at the post time .Paddy is the nicest gentleman you ever met ,he has been around for as long as I can remember and I'm 61 . Whenever I go back home the first and only place I go is to The Post Time /Paddy Gs . Buddy

Your average dive bar, sports on the screens, bathroom smelled like pure urine. The bartender was extremely sweet and courteous. All around an ok place.

I have to disagree with certain other reviewers who said this was a bar for homeless folks. Perhaps she caught it on a bad day. Generally a solid neighborhood bar with a great juke box and very generous staff and fellow patrons. I should move closer so I can visit more often!!
