My time being here for about a week as my family member is admitted to the hospital, I had to get something to eat occasionally. There are three kiosks that you can order and the waiting time will vary during the time of the day. Noon to about 1:30pm is the busiest, and the wait can exceed 20 mins. I haven’t had problems with their food quality while I was here. The food is decent and the coffee and sodas are all self serving. There are plenty of seating and also outdoor seating when weather is permitting. I guess if you want to avoid the long wait during lunch is to order through the app ahead of time and pick it up.

After spending my day(9am-945pm) in the ER I finally got to my hospital room, eager to order from au bon pain. Was told its Panera now and I can easily use the app and have it delivered before 11pm. Downloaded the app and was told via app that the location was not available for delivery(?). I called for some type of help because I dunno what's going on and the woman who answered my call told simply stated "its the wrong location" and hung up on me. Clearly she can't know what Ive been through today or how hangry I am. It is also clear that she doesn't care. I had explained to her that I was a patient. I'd like to give her 1 star to her face for her unprofessionalism and lack of empathy to boot but Im not allowed to leave my room. I have oodles of time to kill that I definitely used to call her back, telling her how it'd be a great consideration to change her 'tude, since she is working in a hospital. My helpful nurse made it so that I could place my order, unfortunately at this point, too late for a delivery so he picked it up for me. Awesome Nurse. If you didn't know prior, let me inform you that teas and warm soups are great for my damaged spleen. This butternut squash especially. spleens love squash and this soup is yummy. Unfortunately, I was also given a cup for tea accompanied by NO tea bag. Boooooo

It's a panera in the hospital that you can only access if you have access to the hospital. That said, it's great for hospital staff! The online ordering via app is smooth and they have digital kiosk and order tracking so you know when the order is ready. Standard panera quality.

Please close this location asap. Service is lousy and they should not be operating in a busy environment where faster service is needed.

The shorter lady working the front end in business casual clothes (manager probably) is awful. Rude, dismissive, and inhospitable. I asked for extra cheese because there was none in my soup and she was livid, borderline refused me a single cup of cheese. Not to mention they forgot the croutons too. I told her she should be nicer to costumers considering she works at a hospital, and she scoffed and asked me to leave, continued to yell at her staff and other customers. She should not be working here, especially at a hospital.

Unfortunately got food poisoning here, it was terrible. I love Panera but after eating here a handful of times I finally decided I needed to write a review. Over half the time my order is wrong and something is missing or I received the wrong item entirely. The management is nasty and the staff seem really unhappy. Please fix this.

Very slow, the Manager/supervisor forgetting to include items in my order. Staff moving slow. There is no initiative to move customers quick. Everybody working at a slow pace. My order said ready on the screen but no where to be found. Also serves old soup. You have to speak up just to get a drink or wait 5 to 10 minutes. Needs new management & staff.

"Some things about the work environments at this location"The problems are from the management team. They are Uneducated, disorganized, bullies, and Lack communication skills one hundred percent; they worship their position so much that bullied staff better watch what they say around them, and they pretty much have nasty attitudes that upset customers and teammates. I remember "two staff members were reported" to the hiring manager and another by customers but did not get written up. Instead, Managers and staff would laugh and talk about the upset customers and team members. A "team" wanted to go on break later and was written for that. They F up the shift and system and wrote her up for that. Bullying and Harassment became so overbearing for some, especially for those who did not care to speak up but rather left. Others are holding on, waiting for a new job to escape the madness. One fake manager was so nasty with her attitude that not only did staff hate her, but customers talked about her hostility. I prayed that they train the managers and pay for Educations and the NYS of health certification because they do not know proper procedures and Ethical Standards. The food and the location are not the problem:"But don't worry; the store is in the hospital!"• New people are constantly hired and are not trained, especially per the NYS of Health. "Sure, they can do the online training, but watch their approach towards the food industry.• I remember a staff member's thumb was in the soup "because she was not wearing a glove," the customer refused to take it, which resulted in an agreement, and the manager did nothing but refund.• Rules are set for some staff while favorites shop for free food to take home and give to friends or families who stop by the store.•• Staff will bully other staff through managers and trainers’ requests.• Some staff are overworked and complain behind managers backs.• Managers will sit on their social phones and bully specific staff to get it all done without help when short-staffed.• "Please don't quit," I saw told when I had decided enough; I stupidly did not at the time.• I correct what is not proper procedures, but this can become up-setting to managers who will clarify that "there is only one manager, and that was her."I can go on and on about a lot more in this unfair work environment butMy review is not to degrade the company in any way, and the food is excellent, but better food distributions, training and Educations need to be in place to prevent a lot at stake.

This place reminds me of the old A bun pain. One of the worst. The screen keep saying prepping forever, when you question what’s going on the staff says oh the machine is not working, we are cleaning the machine, we don’t have Mac and cheese. So when will you tell the customers this? Are you going to have them stand there forever and keep waiting? When Panera first open it was 10/10 now it’s 1/10!!! The cashiers are clueless they are charging you for the items to later find out they don’t have anymore!! Service like these won’t last for long.

The menu is atrocious, let's put it this way the food in the hospital's diabetic ward. Is a big step up. I do find one redeeming aspect of this establishment, they have a polite hardworking staff.

I ordered my lunch online. It took them 40 minutes to prepare a lousy sandwich & a frozen drink. Mind you the lunch break is just an hour. It’s a great idea to have a Panera however Management need to hire more staff, & revise your daily inventory so you don’t run out of items so quickly. Y’all not ready for a busy hospital settings.
