Rang in Long Island City offers an exceptional dining experience. Their diverse menu showcases authentic Indian cuisine, from fragrant biryanis to succulent tandoori specialties. With impeccable service and a stylish ambiance, Rang is perfect for any occasion. Special commendation to the attentive server/barista who made our experience truly memorable. Highly recommended!

The food was okay and loved the server/waitress but I did not like that the food was served on one time use plates…the price point does not match having to eat with plastic forks and plates

The food was excellent with really good flavors and at a super reasonable price point. For apps, we got the veggie samosas, which were excellent. We got the chicken tikka masala and the truffle korma with chicken for mains with a side of garlic naan and paratha.the garlic naan was INSANE- so light, crispy, and fluffy at the same time. i literally could have eaten two orders. out of the two chickens we got- definitely recommend the chicken tikka masala. It definitely a small spot, with limited space. You also get served with paper plates and take out containers, which we didn’t mind, but just a heads-up.I definitely recommend for take out and will be back!

Ordered via seamless; order was not correct and had MISSING ITIEMS. ZERO TELEPHONE SUPPORT. FRUSTRATING to know there is no checking of items being sent.

A great spot to check out! Very limited seating and honestly my only critique is that the chairs were unstable. Other than that you cannot go wrong here, the food is rich of flavor! And great service too! Definitely recommend.

Is berang duniya mein, we are all looking for color. Sadly I found the colors of "Rang" made their way into the inviting decor of this charming street food focused eatery in LIC, but not necessarily into the flavor palate of the items we tried. Our group had just finished sharing donuts from Kora nearby, so we just focused on appetizers, specifically the bhindi fries, lasooni gobhi, and beetroot tikki chaat. Nowadays with plentiful desi street food options in the city, I didn't find anyone of the flavors here extraordinary. The chaat could have used a mix of more masalas, it tasted mostly just like yogurt and green chutney. The bhindi fries were probably the best of the 3 items.

Good Indian food in a cozy nook with great music and decor! Come here for curries that make you feel good, not necessarily curries that take you to India. I went early one night and didn't have trouble finding a seat: they only have 14 seats so be sure to get a reservation if you're going during peak hours. The food was excellent: creamy curry and flavorful garlic naan. I got the truffle chicken korma, and while I didn't taste much truffle in it, it was still rich and delicious. It was weird that my food didn't come in bowls, and just came in takeout containers with disposable cutlery: I felt a bit silly eating takeout in the restaurant. They had also run out of receipt paper, so I had to pay my bill at the counter. Food is great, service could be better, but the homey ambiance makes up for it!

I got the chicken biriyani and garlic naan and it was pretty ordinary. Biriyani was so dry....they should give you a raitha or some sort of a curry to go with it.

This is some of the best Indian food I've had in NYC. Great flavor, texture, and quality. We order it for take-out almost weekly and its consistently good. Highly recommend the Paneer Saag appetizer! Inside is also cute and cozy and not overly crowded if you want to dine in.

This place is super fun and tasty. Had never been but read about it on Reddit and it’s in walking distance. The size of a closet (maybe 14 stools?).Amazing Happy Hour deals, we got two excellent cocktails for 8 bucks each that were unique to the restaurant. Truffle Chicken Korma was delicious and flavorful and samosa chaat was addictive. My only complaint is they were running out of food when I was there on a Friday because a group of regulars were having a birthday party and kept buying everything. Good problem for a tiny restaurant to have.
