On Kissena where all the asian restaurants are, this one is the best. I like the spicy pepper and pork stir fried noodles. Delicious noodles great texture, simple dish with a few ingredients and it tastes great. Restaurant is often filled with customers. Staff speak English well.

A hole-in-the-wall restaurant with amazing noodles and stir fry veggies! Price is low, and they take only cash.

This is the 1st time I've eaten there but been taking out for a while. Small little place but very busy n I feel that because they are so busy, the place doesn't feel clean, not dirty but oily dit to their great cooking. May not visit again but will definitely continue to take out. Fairly priced.

Love the food. But what's up with the giant Labrador in the restaurant??? Or, was it a golden retriever??

Beef Stew Hand-Pulled Noodle Soup: great taste, no MSG. It meet all expectation of a $8 noodle soup. Perfect for a rainy day like today.

This place is really a hole in the wall. Hard to find parking so driving is hard. However if you do happen to get here and able to get a seat or place an order for take out I will need to say that the food is pretty good in general. Now I am Shanghainese and go to Shanghai often and always nice to be able to eat Shanghainese food that actually tastes good. This place makes some pretty authentic foods from Shanghai and being family owned and straight from Shanghai the food has great taste for what I have ordered. The fatty pork belly was really good. I had the small fried pork bun and this was for sure one of the better that I had. Still hard to compare this to Shanghai directly and it doesn't seem that anyone from other then being in Shanghai directly can duplicate it. Still the bun is a lot thinner then other places and very good flavor. I also had the scallion dry noodle and this was really good. Simple dish but just tasty. Had the little and big wonton soup and the soup base was really good and they make some very good wontons. Friendly owner and very nice service. Give them a try for good Shanghainese food!
