It's really hard to find perfectly crispy and juicy Korean fried chicken and Rokstar definitely delivered. Amazing on all ends - even their fries and fried shrimp were fantastic! I would say I wish they had more to offer, but it's obvious that having a small menu has yielded the great result of them having mastered a supremely tasty crunch and flavor (try the chicken tossed in their Korean sweet chili sauce!). Lest I forget the portions match the price. Love love love, they are staying on my monthly rotation!

First time, my bf brought some chicken from Rokstar as it was next to a singas pizza. He just thought, why not!? Plus it's halal! He ONLY brought a bucket of 20 piece chicken, which was sauced with soy garlic BBQ. He brought it home and it was still good! It wasn't super hot but still hot enough. The chicken itself was moist and was not dry at all. The batter wasn't super crispy but just enough that there are crispy pieces and you won't hurt yourself from eating the chicken. Yeah, your grandma can eat it and shouldn't have a problem. The outside layer of skin and sauce was SOOO good! It has such a sweet taste but not overly and sickeningly sweet. It really went well as a whole. We had singas but I just pushed those pies aside to devour the chicken. The second time was last night. We ordered the chicken with soy garlic bbq sauce, onion rings and kimchi dumplings. I'm not going to go over the chicken cause it was as good as the first time!!! To ensure there's some balance, eat the pickled radish. It's very good. The onion rings were good, they weren't super crispy since we ordered take out but it was still decent enough. If you threw them in the air fryer, they should crispy up nicely. The kimchi dumplings were BOMB! They were fried and came with 6 in an order ( I believe?) They have a kick due to the kimchi but they were very good. I'm happy they even offered kimchi dumplings since a lot of chicken places, don't. Just usual pork dumplings and whatnot. My bf said it was the best part of the meal. All in all, yeah. I will come again. The chicken is pretty pricey but I think this is deff good for those that practice Muslim and can only eat halal. This place is an option. Also, halal meats are pricey due to it's special preparation anyways. So..yeah

Hands down the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had! I’m always wanting to eat more whenever I get the chance. And their calamari is way different than most places! Highly recommend to everyone about rokstar chicken!

The chicken are delicious and has halal options. Probably one of the best fried chicken places in Queens. Must try.

I think it would be more delicious if you seasoned the chicken a little more and covered it with a lot of sauce... I feel like I'm sparing a lot of seasoning sauce... Maybe it's because there are a lot of chicken restaurants in Dongdae and they've been upgraded, but it was just like that.

My boyfriend and I ordered the spicy chicken tenders and we were highly disappointed. I feel like the staff should try the food before they serve food like this. I loovvee spicy food don’t get me wrong but these were beyond bearable. It was so spicy I couldn’t get past eating the second one before chugging all of my drink. I’m now in agony, my stomach has been hurting for the past 2 hours. No longer interested in getting food from there again.

Spotted this gem on TikTok, expecting a flavor explosion. Headed over, but dang, it was like munching on raw chicken—zero crunch! Nice effort, but seriously, let's amp up the taste game, folks!

I got the boneless chicken (half size) with spicy soy garlic sauce on the side. I also ordered the jalapeno mayo to fry it out.The chicken was absolutely delicious. It was fresh, hot, crispy, crunchy, and juicy. I'm glad that the soy garlic wasn't too sweet -- it also had a nice spicy kick to it. I enjoyed the chicken by itself and with the soy garlic sauce as well. The jalapeno mayo was ok - it tasted like regular mayo with a hint of jalapeno. I didn't use it as much because it felt a little heavy with the fried chicken. I imagine it would be better with the chicken sandwiches.I'm looking forward to going there again. Definitely hit the spot. It's definitely better fried chicken than any of the other halal spots that I've been to on LI, Queens, or Manhattan. There is a sign that says that all their chicken is halal.Note: This is only a carryout place. There is no place to sit down. It's located right next to Food Bazaar, in the share parking lot.Dietary restrictions: Halal chicken

This fried chicken spot is right in front of Food Bazaar on Northern Blvd. It's takeout only. I recently learned they serve halal fried chicken! The person at the counter was very helpful in explaining which options were halal and what items he would recommend. I ordered the 5pc boneless chicken combo with the spicy batter and hot sweet chilli sauce. It was delicious and spicy!! I'll definitely stop by again to try out the other sauce combinations.

Honestly felt like the chicken was not spicy, not crunchy and was a bit bland. My fries had no Cajun seasoning. The kimchi dumplings were good. Would probably not pick over other fried chicken spots.

A few things that were good: Delivered very fast and everything came hot.The food tho, was a no-go. These wings were so sad and crisp-less. No flavor in the sauce even when it was drenched. On top of that the quality of the chicken was cheap, showing dark and veiny. They free Moo (radish that came with it was definitely almost smelled like mold. The larger size Moo was acceptable and so were the kimchi dumplings. I ate those as I stared at my bucket of 10 wing flavorless chicken in the garbage.

Take out only so we eat it in the food court in the supermarket nearby.Fried chicken ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: we got the boneless dark meat, and it was really well fried while being super tender. I would recommend getting it tossed in the sauce instead of on the side so it can soak in the flavor a bit.Cajun fries ⭐️⭐️⭐️: fries were crispy, but I felt like they could've done a bit more with the seasoning. Also, fries always suffer through takeout, even if it's just a few minutes.
