The food is good and tasty. The roasted duck is juicy, but isn't warm enough. The service is friendly and the price is reasonable.

Today my wife and I had a late lunch at Rongwang Cantonese Restaurant. My second time there. Her first.I suggested it based on the first time I ate there. It’s the kinda joint I like. Small, hole in the wall, regeonal food joint. The food is excellent! No joke.I had spicy spare rib chow mein ($14). My wife had duck leg noodle soup ($10).Total with tip cane to $26 & change. We left $31.The portions are big. The soup was glistening. & rich. The duck leg was savory and it’s skin had just the right amount of crispiness. The chow mein is big pile of pan fried noodles sitting in a deep dish of thick pork & fermented black bean sauce. With chunks of roasted spare ribs. Very tasty. Though the menu says it’s spicy I couldn’t decerne any hotness in the my order. So, I asked for two small dishes of hot chili oil to add to the dish. I used all of the chili. I probably could have used a third dish of hot chili oil, but that’s just me liking my food extremely spicy.Neither of us could not finish our food. I ate half of my order. She finished about two thirds of her soup. We took the leftovers home. For $31 we got four meals. About $7.75 a meal. A damn good price for some damn good food. The place isn’t fancy. They do some food prep in the dining room. Din’t bring a first date here. But if you just wanna eat well and not spend tons of dough, this is the place for you.I reccommend this place highly. I’ll be going back again soon.Parking: This is Roosevelt Ave. off of Main Street in Flushing, Queens. Park a block or two away. Better yet, take public transportation.

Quick-cooking restaurants near the Flushing metro. They sell a variety of rice bowls. Peking duck and spare ribs are famous.

Bonus points cause she called me leng lui.But seriously, the lady working was very kind. I haven't had the 3 Precious Ingredients Over Rice ($11) in a minute, so it did indeed hit the spot. However, I do want to note this dish mentions egg, but it did not come with one. And their duck skin was more prominent than actual meat. I would dine in to try more foods if I get the chance, but it's nice to have a Cantonese option in the area.

Let me comment first on the "Three Treasures" rice I bought for $11. The three treasures include crispy pork, roasted duck, and eggs. I don’t know why I wasn’t given eggs, only bacon and roast duck. It's better to call it a double fight. The pork tastes okay, like roast duck, and the rice is average or not delicious. I bought it at the store and didn't order rice balls or pandas. Meat is pitiful. If you say that the rent is expensive, you can increase the unit price. I can only say that the boss looked very ugly. The portion was small and he didn't check the food. It can be said that the experience was extremely bad. When I got home, I realized the quantity was pitiful. Give everyone a break. Just think I'm complaining.

Most recent trip left me very disappointed. This used to be a really good (probably the best in terms of taste) Cantonese roast meat shop in Flushing. It’s really unfortunate that they’ve decided to either change hands or change formulas. I bought nearly $30 worth of roast pork and it was an absolute mess. Barely any crispy skin and worse, it was cut into a bunch of random shapes. I understand needing to train new staff but at least supervise them. My toddler cousin could’ve cut them better with a pair of safety kid scissors.

Picked up dinner from this place tonight and the food was pretty good. It was literally ready in 5 minutes and on top of that they accept card when many other places are cash only. The service is friendly as well; I definitely will be back.

First time coming for dinner. We ordered a few classic Cantonese style dishes such as the Beef Chow Fun, Fried Tofu with Braised Fish over rice and Sweet and Sour Peking Pork Ribs. The beef chow fun had the right amount of coloring and oil to keep everything together without sticking and it came with a good amount of beef. The Prking Pork Ribs were delicious and the tofu with fish was good as well. Will come back for other dishes for takeout in the near future. Prices were very reasonable.

Not the same. Was a regular once a week for the first 4 months when they opened ordering the SAME 3-4 dishes. Its changes in quality are super obvious when you only get a few things over and over. The quality of the dishes have strayed further and further from classic Hong Kong taste and overall quality has dipped.

Food was delicious and came fast. The clay pot rice has so many topping options and was perfectly cooked. It usually takes quite long so be prepared for a 10-20 min wait (order it first!) The wait staff was so friendly and kind, definitely some of the friendliest I've experienced. They also have a 4 entree+1 soup rice combo in the front that looked yummy but I didn't try that.

Solid Canto spot with all the typical offerings that you would expect to find, from roast meats to congee to wonton noodle soup to claypot rice. I usually get their roast meats, which are quite good. You can get two roast meats over rice for $10, which is crazy cheap. Service is typically very quick and I've rarely been disappointed by their food.
