Visited from TN for the outstanding and surprising liquor selection.. spent several hours at the bar on a not too busy Wednesday afternoon. David the bar tender was outstanding in conversation and service. Lobster ravioli did not disappoint. Great atmosphere, great music, would gladly come back next time. The history here is great also.. family owned for 100 years. 5 stars

I am growing tired of trying to support Astoria restaurants, rather than going somewhere in the city, and being consistently disappointed with the quality of food and service. Ordered squash ravioli, fish tacos, burger, and lobster mac. Lobster Mac was decent, burger was alright, tacos were flavorless, and ravioli was over cooked. I will never come back here, because there is no reason to. Sure, the prices are perhaps 20% cheaper than an equivalent place in the city. But when the food quality is not there, who cares about price. Service wasn’t great either. Had to ask for a straw multiple times, food took 20 minutes, on a slow Wednesday night. No excuse.

We visited this place with a good friend on a Friday night. It was busy so the hostess asked us to wait for a couple of minutes so she could accommodate us. We ended up sitting in one of the couches on the right side as you enter the restaurant. Great choice. We handed over the menu right away. We chose a calamari plate as a starter and 2 main plates, chicken for my friend and pasta with meatballs for me. We also did a few drinks.The service was exceptional. Very attentive. My pasta was overcooked. It wasn’t al dente at all and I am a pasta lover. Meatballs were good. This is the only reason I’m giving 4 stars. Good place, good vibe overall. Good job guys :)

The food is usually pretty good and consistent. However, tonight I ordered for pickup, the Seamless app said it would be ready between 8:20-8:30 p.m. I got there at 8:20 p.m. and it wasn't ready, the hostess said 5-10 more minutes. I came back at 8:40 p.m. Food still wasn't ready, once again the hostess said 5 more minutes. As I wait in the front while everyone else's pick up orders and deliveries are going out. My food didn't appear until 9:15 p.m. I'm disappointed in the lack of honesty and empathy of me waiting much longer than it said. I would understand 15-20 minutes past the pickup time, but not nearly an hour.

I came for breakfast giving the staff every reason not to serve us well. I brought my 9 month old daughter and 3 year old nephew to enjoy a nice breakfast.This is some of the most incredible staff I have ever seen. I don’t believe I could have had better service if I were royalty. Thank you Miguel and Cheanne.The food was great, the atmosphere was very enjoyable, but the attentiveness and service of the staff made this one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The owner of this establishment should be extremely proud.I do not hesitate in saying this is one of the nicest casual restaurants in all of queens, possibly all of New York.Kid-friendliness: We brought a very excited toddler and the staff treated us very respectfully as we did our best to keep him calm.

We didn't make a reservation and walked in. The front host said it will be an hour wait and we left our information. Within 10 mins she called us back because they had seating. That's a huge difference from an hour wait to 10 mins. Forecasting is tough i guess. the food was not that good i was not a fan of my salmon lox eggs benedict it was not made good. the prime steak skillet was pretty good but loaded with oil and butter and was very dry as well i wont come back here the food was miss and drinks weren't good. there's plenty of better brunch spots in the area with better ambiance as well. C+ 6/10
