The Tuesday $10 burger and beer deal is the best around. You can get your burger rare, medium, or well done. The burger itself is fine but hey it's $10. Comes with thick steak cut fries, which weren't very crispy and weren't exactly my thing but hey it's $10. You can sub salad for fries which I'll probs do next time.You have the choice between three different beers: sek'end sun lager, sek'end sun ipa, or narragansett.If you don't drink you can sub soda and if you don't eat beef you can sub black bean burger.Tuesday nights as of this review are also mix tape bingo night. The music is low enough to talk while bingo is on, but after the music goes full volume so I guess Sek'end Sun might not really be a chatting bar, or even a screaming bar for those of us who don't have voices that carry or project. I was sitting in the back though, so unsure if the volume level is different at front at the bar. Cool, friendly vibe though with friendly service.Some Sunday nights they have salsa socials that include a lesson and they had a recent swing lesson and social a different Sunday.

This is one of the best local bars in Astoria. I go in at least once or twice a week. Usually I'm in for trivia on Mondays, which is by far the best in the neighborhood. The host is amazing and the staff really go all out for it. They usually have drink specials and fun bonus prizes (even when you don't win at trivia). They have happy hour from 4-7 on the weekends and 5-7 on weekdays but have daily specials as well. I've become friends with so many of the bartenders here because they are so friendly and nice. They food is great and really well priced, especially when food prices seem to be rising. I like the brunch a lot too. We've gone with some gluten free friends a lot, and I'm vegetarian, and we all always leave happy. Love this place!

Very nice spot to gather with friends food is really good i recommend the cheese burgers its the type of bar that there was a DJ, but you can still hold a conversation without yelling the crowd last night was mellow very impressed bathroom could use an upgrade i saw there is a nice back patio and good beer selection you can book parties
The food was quaint and and tasty. I went for a birthday and everyone had their own tab which was great considering each person paid for what they ordered. Customer service was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxing and fun at the same time.

This place gives you trendy bar meets restaurant. The service is really good and the bottomless brunch in terms of the alcohol is very good. The brunch burger got re-reviews from my friend. However, the chicken sandwich had all three elements but it lacked flavor. The fries were good. The waitress was super nice and friendly.

Come here often for trivia and gotta say this is one of my favorite places in Astoria, if not the whole city. To start off Kat, our bartender / server always has the best service, getting our orders in quickly and making sure we always have water and full drinks. The food here is always a hit. Our favorite is definitely the loaded tots, but you can't really go wrong with anything. The sekend sun IPA is my go to drink but also they have always have some kind of seasonal or specialty drink that's always changing. Last time they had a barbie cocktail for the movie! We've also come for brunch and their mimosa flight is also a great way to get a buzz going for a good price along with their great food. Overall, a great place in the neighborhood with a ton of daily specials. Will continue to show up here!
